They disclaimer in the starting that its based on a Turkish novel

How can they give their own endings

Plus the Turkish version of this show was a biggg hit

Only if they would've given more time to play this out

I was having hopes after the 11pm slot

They ruin every remake first fatmagul then this

Its disheartening

I don't know why I was hoping SP will allow this story to develop for some reason. Total disappointment. They should just stick to their typical drama and be happy with the trp. Why try unique subjects and explore them when they can't even give it a chance to culminate?This is why our television remains regeressive even after so many years. This show was dubbed in Urdu and was a big hit in Pakistan. They cut all intimate scenes of Bihter and Behlul because of their conservative culture, but they still gave the show a chance and it was successful. SP should feel ashamed. For once, they could have valued content over trp.

Doesn't come as a surprise to me but for once I thought the rumours were not true because the show was doing so well in UK atleast.

Profit & loss is best understood by people involved in the business but it is so unfair to end a show like this with only half the story shown.

It's about time the rigged TRP system is changed man :-/ A show's target audience should be defined by its content and how well the show scores with target audience is what should count. Here ALL shows are thrown under one bus. It's like expecting all students in a class to top in mathematics while totally disregarding if some of them are good in sports and others in arts.

Will miss Dil Sambhal Ja Zara, a show with such slick production design, amazing music and an understated yet appealing charm. I hadn't thought Vikram Bhatt could come up with such a fine show, hope he produces more shows in future. Or brings back DSJZ as a web series on his YT channel or Hotstar.

This is really unfair.I think so because Ashim and Smriti's pairing had a lot of potential.IMO they had a better chemistry than Beren and Kivanc themselves.But Star Plus can never be trusted with such a concept or shows with proper content.This show would have done better on Sony or as a web series.

The first mistake on the part of the channel was to promote Anant-Ahana as the leads instead of Rehana.Ask-i-Memnu was the story of Behlul and Bihter.Not of Bihter and Adnan.But all SP did was promote Anant and Ahana as the so called Nayi Soch and adorn them on the their red montage.

Rehaan was not even there in the promos whereas Anant was treated as the main lead.The promos totally altered the theme of the show.The show's theme was the forbidden love between Rehana and not Anant-Ahana's love story where the age gap is an issue.

The second mistake was to overstretch Anant's scenes and give way too much importance to him.Adnan never got such importance in the Turkish version.Here since they got Sanjay Kapoor for Anant they gave him all the limelight and promoted him as the main protagonist.Rehaan was totally sidelined.

What a waste of Ashim and Smriti's brilliant chemistry!!

Star Plus should never touch another International show ever again. They already ruined Alma and now DSJZ. This is extremely disappointing and highly likely won't show Ahana committing suicide.

forget ahana's suicide we are not eveb sure whether they will show ahana having feelings for rehaan in just 15-20 episodes

I also think indian shows should stay far far away from remaking international shows. Trp are brought by the masses and none of the international shows run on saas bahu saga😡

They are content oriented and seasonal shows.

Even a 5 year can tell dsjz is never gonna appeal to tge masses and will only have a certain kind of fans. What were star plus thinking when thwy took up thw show. That its gonna give yrkkh or kumkum bhagya a run for its money😡

It didn't even hit the main plot 😡 I don't understand why SP takes on a successful show and ruins it to the core. TRPs should even matter. I know right I want Rehaan and Ahana to express their feelings and have that climax ending. They have already shown Lalia messed up 😕 I know the original had limited episodes but oh my gosh I'm literally so mad. They wasted have their time on Roshini 🤢 Yeah, from the beginning I think everyone knew that the show won't apply to the aunties they can stick to their useless shows like KB, KKB, YHM, YRKKH. Never going to watch another International show get butchered as Indian television has no standards
