Palazzo pant and long kurta clad Sonakshi looked all the same yet renewed. Her post marriage attire didn't change much, but gave her a new look. Tiny Sindoor, delicate mangalsutra, a small round bindi, and a few clinking bangles were the only small additions that she had made to her post marriage look, Something that Dev was very fond of on her. Not to show off to the world that she is married, but for his own admiration, that she always and forever is his. Sonakshi entertained this little fond wish of his, and tried maximum times to not miss them; nothing like Dev rounded her up if sometimes she didn't. But she tried that.
Other than occasional saree, and full-fledged suits were the traditional wear she opted on certain occasions, she was the same old Sonakshi. Just that now she didn't visit her salon for the regular hair trim that she did after Soha was born. She knew her husband loved her anyway, but he missed her long tresses, the ones that he kept touching and commenting on the softness till the times she was with him. And her mother in law had a huge gripe over her short hair, though she never explicitly commented or showed her disagreement over; but Sonakshi knew, she loved her long hair, and now she is growing them back.
It wasn't that Sonakshi was the only one who made amends from her side, be it her look, or her behaviour. The amends came from both the ends... Dev, though a changed man, but was all the same. His room would be a whole mess once he entered, clothes hanging out of his wardrobe, wet towel on the bed, discarded tee-shirt on the chair, his papers strewn on the table, and him finding some place to sleep. The changes were that now Ishwari didn't come in his room after him to pick all the debris of the blast he made. She would patiently do some other work, but not interfere. The moment Sonakshi would enter the room, Dev would sit upright. And when he saw that she is wordlessly cleaning the room, he would immediately contribute to quickly make the room look clean. He slowly made it a point to create lesser mess for Sonakshi, and stop being a bad example to his daughter and Golu. He was eventually doing 7 years later, what Sonakshi had always wanted him to be... Independent for his little chores.

They were celebrating their sixth month anniversary this day. A full-on get-together for the Dixits and the Boses. Every month, they tried joining in to each other's houses for a reunion. A sigh of relief that Dev and Sonakshi had taken; after the truce that both the families now had. Neither Mamiji taunted on vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, nor did she term her as Bengali.
Sonakshi was relieved of the tension that maamiji earlier gave. She wondered at times what brought this change in her. But she and Dev concluded that with Dev handling over one whole Company to Vicky had made the issues easier. He handled the Tripathi App Solutions- a multibucks worth company that he had started on Golu's birth, now had full-fledged Vicky's ownership, that with Dev's guidance was running it fairly well...
Whatever the reason was, however mean they may sound, Sonakshi meant the peace of the house, and it certainly was there. She was happy. Cutting the cake she served to everyone, Vicky took the peace and gave a side hug to her. He felt gratitude, and had come to respect Sonakshi eventually, after he had almost lost the family because of his greed. With Sonakshi's forgiveness, did he earn the rest of the family's forgiveness, and despite some unintentional slip-ups, he genuinely tried improving, and the family was happy about it...
Soha and Golu remained on cloud nine, living together. Golu had turned out to be a very protective brother, while Soha's maturity helped him through his extreme childishness. While Soha was rubbing her good impact on Golu, Golu was balming her with his impact too... She has suddenly started behaving like the children on her age group. She would play cricket with Golu, and in return made him play ghar-ghar where her dolls were their children, while they played husband and wife. Sonakshi often laughed seeing them, though.

Amidst the family enjoying, Sonakshi slipped out of their reach and came to her room. The indicator light was blinking in her cell phone telling her of an incoming mail. Checking her mails were her top priority since her business related stuffs were exchanged on a huge scale though mails. An e-mail from City Hospital made her highly curious. They had been generous enough to mail her, her reports. Stomach bug that she was sure; wasn't the case, yet she had sent her blood and urine samples, just in case. Like, she had suspected, the reports read that she was expecting. She plopped over the bed on Dev's side. Despite knowing what they might read, she couldn't decipher her emotions...
