Ishwari's character was the one CVS messed up 'the most'.. Sometimes showed her as Mahan. . Sometimes as immature confused lady sometimes good hearted. . Sometimes obsessed one. . Oh what to say.. .

She has no complaints in her life. Being an upper middle class mother her main concern in her whole life is their children- their education -their future security.she always worried about her son saurabh but her sona never gave her a reason to worry..

When she knew the budding love between Dev &sona - Asha first time started to worry about her 'middle class ' status and about sona.

In the time of sona's accident she was stunned by the care and concern Dev has for sona. She confused why her daughter used to call him "Obhodro" because in none of the angles he looked like the one.

She knew Dev has a soft corner towards sona. But the vast status difference and Dixits' family's custom and traits - kind of created a permanent fear in her mind.

She was not the mother who would suspect every decision of their children and intrude in all of them. But the depth of sona's feeling towards Dev made her took this step. So she asked Dev to come and meet them .

Uff it was a long day.. And she has to instruct many things to her 'angry young man' bijoy before dev's arrival. Pouring the newly prepared tea in cups Asha came out of her kitchen and probably out of her thoughts too.

Dev chuckled at mamaji's words. Whom I was thinking about - the man who stood with me as a father as a guardian as a mentor and as a friend in all my ups and downs . Reading my face was as easy as reading an open book for him. -he thought..

Thank goodness, your version of Mamaji is actually willing to act on his own words. And I love your Dev and Sona too. Liking Sona's naughty side. You go, girl, complain all you want to Mamaji and keep Dev on his toes 😉. This kind of harmless fun is what they shld have showed, it wud have made things so pleasant in the show.
