Seeing a natrual progression

I've watched Ishqbaaz from the first episode. I won't say i've enjoyed all the episodes, but I have enjoyed the character portrayals and the chemistry of all the characters. I have to say that Ishqbaaz is the most well styled show on Indian Television, ever. Especially for female leads.
I do like the three pairings. They make sense. Shivaay and Anika for obvious reasons. Om, the low toned poet and painter, and Gauri, the loud and filmy seamstress. Rudra, immature and confused diwala, and Bhavya, the mature and focused ACP.
My issue is the fact that the show takes random shots and leaps. There is no flow in the story. Shivaay and Anika's story is looking stagnant; Om and Gauri have the chemistry but after the redemption track their progression seems a little far fetched; maybe an episode or two showing some proximity would have helped. Rudra and Bhavya have just gone off tangent. That track needs some redrafting.
The actors portraying Om and Gauri are so talented. They both emote so well. But they aren't getting the chance to. They really need some scenes showing mutual attraction. Personally they are my favorite as of now. I like the potential in their track and hope that we get some good moments from them. I mean come on, Om is a shayaar and from the lines he has already said, Poora hona kismat hai is adhure kisse kii, abhi mohabbat karni hai humein humare hisse kii, they are so beautiful. Fingers crossed..
I do like Shivika, but I've seen almost all shades of them and the CV's aren't presenting anything exciting about them. Hoping the Gauri and Anika tack brings some growth along with a much need consumation.
Rudra and Bhavya need a high octane scene where Bhavya really lets all her bhadaas out. Rudra really needs to be put in his place. I really find this bodyguard track offensive. There has to be a well written scene where Rudra becomes enlightened to the realities of his life and everyone else.
I have been reading so much of the writing in this forum. You guys are so talented, standing ovation for you all. Maybe I have highered my expectations for the show too high because of the content on the forum. Wish you guys were the writers of the show.
I know all of of you, including me, are very, how do say this lightly, skeptical of the Goa track. I don't want to jump to any conclusions before watching the episodes, but I am a little wary of this. I am hoping for all of sanity, the CV's make it justified.
Please keep up with your fabulous writing and be the inspiration and motivation you guys are.

So true. You just put to words most of my feelings on IB, atleast on Shivika and Rikara. Ruvya, somehow never could relate to them much. But, Rudy is my favorite and thank god they atleast bought him to track to some extent atleast.

Very well thought out and succinctly jotted your thoughts. Echo all of them. Cant digest this Goa track and can't reconcile that both the older Oberoi siblings are going to indulge in dirty dancing. Then Omkara's volcanic reaction to Gauri to me shrieks of double standards if he is going to indulge himself on the side. You can say bye to the TRP rising at this rate if you are going to indulge in self-destruction of your characters. For me I am quite content watching the earlier episodes.
