It's been 6 months, since Avni and Rhea moved to Mumbai for their jobs.
They rented an apartment in Bandra. And their work was going all well.
At Avni-Rhea Apartment:
"Avni, yaar sun na. Ek problem ho gyi h? Rhea said coming out of her room.
"Ab kya ho gya? Avni said with worried tone.
"Land owner ne ek month ki notice di hai flat khali krne k liye. Rhea said.
"What? But humara contract toh do saal ka tha na? Avni said with confusion written all over her face.
"Yup, but they are renovating this apartment and now they are going to give it only to family. We have to look for another apartment. Rhea stated.
"Shit yaar! Okay, I will ask Ali to look for it. He is living here for 2 years. He might know some good apartments. Avni informed Rhea.
"Arey Haan, Ali hai na apna saviour. Rhea smiled.
Avni called Ali and said him about their problem and he said he would find the apartment asap.
Rhea went to her office later on. Avni was doing her work from home, when she got a call from one of her friend.
"What? Hey Bhagwan! Ye kaise ho gya? Kahan ho tumlog? I am coming. Take care of her. Avni said almost crying and ran out of the apartment.

At Avni's Friend Apartment:
"Don't come near me. Stay away. Please. Stay away. Don't touch me. A girl's shout was heard from the door.
"What's happening here. What you are doing here. Don't you understand she is not comfortable to answer your questions right now. Get out of the room. Avni shouted at the Policeman standing in the room.
"Excuse me. I am a police and I am just trying to get some answer otherwise we will not be able to catch the culprit. The Policeman said.
"Don't you know that a male police is not allowed to question in these cases plus the victim is going through post trauma. You have to give her time. And where are your female counterparts? Avni asked in her formal tone.
"They are not here yet. And I know Law very well. You don't have to teach me what should I do or shouldn't. We have to find the culprit before he runs away. The Policeman said.
"I also know Law very well. And I know the gravity of the situation. But can't you see her condition? She is going through trauma. You step out of the room and let me ask her. I am her friend. I will inform you soon after getting the information. You can go now. Avni said.
"I am not going anywhere without getting any information. I will wait outside till you get any information. The Policeman said and moved out of the room.
Avni went inside the room and immediately hugged her friend.
"No. No. Please don't touch me. The girl cried.
"Ananya, it's me. Avni. Please don't cry. I am here. We all are here. Nothing will happen to you now. We will punish that ba***rd. Please calm down. Avni said hugging her and rocking her to calm her down.
"Avni.. What will I do now? My family? How will they react? How will they face the society? Everyone will blame me. Nobody will accept me now. I should die. I don't want to live. Ananya cried and tried to get out of Avni's grip.
"Shut up. Why should you die? And if anyone who is going to die is that ba***rd. He has done this heinous act. He should hide his face from society. He is at fault not you. And I promise you I will get justice for you. Just believe me. I am always there for you. Avni said consoling her.
The Policeman was listening all this from the gate. On the one hand he was sympathising that girl on the other hand he was proud of Avni who is all ready to fight for her friend.
"Ananya, I know it's difficult for you but if you tell us who did this to you then we can catch him and punish him as soon as possible. Avni tried to ask her.
"Avni, wo... wo... Home Minister.. Home Minister ka beta.. Usne party mein mere saath jabardasti krne ki koshish ki. Maine use thappad mara or fir... or fir.. usne... Ananya was not able to complete her sentence. She started crying hard.
"Sshhh! Sshhh! Don't remember that incident. That ba***rd will get his punishment. Calm down. You need to rest. Avni said calming her down and making her sleep.
She came out of the room and closed the door silently.
"I think you have already heard who is behind all this. And I also know that the police system will not be able to do anything after all they are under those corrupt politicians who has bought the whole system. And the Police department doesn't have that much power and self respect to go against these politicians. So, you can go. I will just come to the station to file the F.I.R. And I will find the evidence against them and will give them the punishment which they are titled to get. Avni said with anger, determination and hope in her eyes.
"Excuse me? I agree that there are police officers that are corrupted and do what these politicians ask them to do. But I am not one of them. And I will do everything in my might to get this girl justice. And I think you need to change your perception on these things. The Policeman said.
"Well it's good that you think this way. And we will see if this system can catch and punish that culprit or not. Avni said moving out of the apartment.
"Hey, excuse me. The Policeman again interrupted.
"Now what? Avni asked irritated.
"May I know your name?" Neil asked.
"I think you know that. No need to ask. Avni said.
"What's your problem? I am asking nicely so that we can work together on this case and get that culprit behind the bars asap. The Policeman said now getting slightly irritated on her behavior.
"I prefer to work alone. Avni said disinterested.
"And that will be against Law. The Policeman stated.
"I know Law better than you. And I will do everything under Law only. Avni said.
"Who are you? And please drop this attitude. I am really trying hard to get this case started and to catch the culprit soon. Please cooperate. The Policeman said pleadingly.
It was really becoming difficult for him to deal with Avni's attitude. And he really wanted to get on work asap.
"Fine, I am Avni Mehta. I am a lawyer by profession. And Ananya is my best friend. And I hope this much information is enough for you. Avni said finally giving up on his request.
"I am ACP Neil Khanna. And thank you so much for cooperating. Neil said with sarcasm dripping from his words and extending his hand for formal handshake.
Avni took it and smiled.
"I thought you are just an inspector. But I am really glad to see an ACP to get involved in the case. Avni said smiling.
"It's my duty. And for me Duty always comes first. Neil said proudly.
"It's good to hear that from you officer. I can see the honesty and dedication for your work in your eyes. I think I can trust you with this case. And that guy is going to regret for doing this act his whole life. I am not going to spare him. Avni said clenching her jaw.
"Woah! Calm down. Police is here. Let me handle this. So, are you gonna take this case for Ananya? Neil asked.
"Actually, right now I am working under Mr. Ajay Thakur. So, first I have to ask him to take the case. Avni said.
"Then you should forget about getting this case. Because I know that person. He is close to all the politicians. And he will not see who is culprit and who is victim. He is gonna support them only. And jahan tak mujhe lagta hai, un tak ye information pahunch gyi hogi. Or Home Minister ne unhe hire bhi kar liya hoga. Neil stated the fact.
"What? I never thought him to be of this type. Although I will ask him once and will let him know that I am not going to support the wrongdoers. Avni said with a spark in her eyes.
Neil could see a lot of potential in this girl. He was really impressed. For the first time he saw a girl with such determination, dedication, strength and yet emotional.
"This girl is something different. I can bet she will change the whole system and will create a sensation. Neil thought.
"Okay, bye. I will go and talk to Mr. Thakur. And you go and try to find out some lead. Avni instructed.
"Well, I know what I should do. Everything is taken care of. I am coming with you. Neil said moving out of the building.
"What? Why do you want to come along? You should go to the police station. Avni said confused.
"I need to talk to Mr. Thakur. And please now no more question. I am the Police officer here and you are asking questions all the time. Neil said trying to lighten the mood.
But Avni was Avni. If she is focused on one thing she will not think about anything else. That mission becomes her life. And after all this case is about her friend. She has to do everything in her might to get justice for her friend. She will go to any extent for her friend. She is that type. If she considers anyone her friend, she will do anything for them. And not only friend if anything is against humanity she will fight for it.
"Okay, let's go. I don't want to waste anymore time, standing here and arguing. Avni said moving ahead of Neil.
They again argued about by whom car they are going and at the end Neil won. And they both went in Police car.

At Mr. Thakur's Office:
"Sir, I want you to take her case. Avni said after telling about the case to Mr. Thakur.
"Avni, Home Minister already asked me and I am not going to decline his offer. Mr. Thakur said.
"Sir, you also know that his son is at fault. How can you support him? Agar law hi sachhai ka saath nahi dega toh kaun dega. Logon ka law par se bharosa uthh jaega. Avni tried to convince him.
"Avni, humare profession mein ye important nahi hai ki kaun si side sahi hai kaun si galat. Successful wahi hota hai jo case ko apni taraf mod le or jeet le. We have to make story and to mould the evidence for our case. Main aise hi India ka best lawyer nahi ban gya. Ainvy iss profession mein maine apne baal safed nahi kiye hai. And you should learn this. Mr. Thakur said.
"I disagree with you. And I am resigning from your assistant post. I will be on truth's side and I will get justice for my friend. See you in court Mr. Thakur. Avni said putting her cabin keys on the table and turning on her heels and walking out of the office with her head held high.
Neil was now double impressed with her attitude and charisma. This girl was really something else.

Loved the prologue really curious to know y relation between ashish and avni s not good since its related to Ayesha death ... felt sorry for avni she always tried to be on good terms with ashish but he always gave her a cold shoulder which disappointed her all the time...happy to know that atleast ashish does care for avni as he asks neela about her but doesn't ask avni directly...so dayawanti did love rhea and avni but she loved aman more and would support him in anything... well at least neela loved both the girls oh wow I actually liked the fact that rhea and avni wanted to keep their identity hidden and be lile normal girls who have came to achieve their dreams...loved neil and shweta scene...y was neil avoiding the topic and said he doesn't want to to talk about it when shweta told him to come home and stay...aww loved it when neil said "hello darling how r u loved how bebe was faking her anger on neil..hayee how I missed this narrowing eyes wala look of neil and the way he said "aj sab ko ho kya gya hain? Sab mujhe wapas ghar pe shift hone ke liya q keh rahe hain?...oh so that's what all the drama was about... the way neil said he doesn't want to get married and he would adopts a kid for them... liked how shweta asked and who will give mothers love to the kid and usual neil had his answers ready...finally a different juhi played by jasmin... so that is another reason for neil not to get married..felt sorry for neil for a sec and how he went to his room which was fell of his and juhi pic ...hmm neil and juhi story different now I cant wait to read about that too
Loved part 1...especially avni and rhea scene...opps poor avni and rhea have to lok for another apartment now... thank god ali is there to help them...I wonder what made avni worry when one of her friend called her and wonder who she was talking about...who was the girl that was shouting say don't come near me?... another character ananya... who got reaped and is bet friend of avni...felt sorry for her...who was the person that raped Ananya?... I m wondering is this police man neil? I hope it is...I knew this police wala is neil especially when he said "excuse me I agree that there are police officers who r corrupted and do what these politicians ask them to do but I am not one of them and I will do everything in my might to get this girl justice and I think u need to change your perception on these things...the way neil was trying to talk to avni nicely but she was talking to him in that way reminded me of their old tashan days...a smile came okn my face when neil said "I am acp neil khaana in a sarcasm way...liked how he extended his hand for a formal hand shake and avni smiled and took it...liked how neil asked avni if she will take this case and when avni said she wokes under ajay takhur adnd how neil said he is not trust worthy avni was shocked but still decided to ask him once and also tell him that she wont support wrong people... loved how neil was impressed with avni and thought to himself "this girl is something different I can bet she will change the whole system and will create a sensation " liked how when avni told neil who should go and fined out some lead and how neil repled back saying "well I know what I should do everything is taken care of I am coming with u which made avni confused...finally avni agreed and neil was going with her again it made me laugh where both were arguing in his car to go in and finally neil won so they had to go in the police car...when avni was trying to convince mr thakur but he didn't do anything as he wont decline the home minster offerI was like erghhh I hate these type of lawyers...like how avni was not scared of her boss and told him on his face that she doesn't agre with him and resigned from the assistant post...loved how she said "see u in court mr thakur "hayee neil was double impressed with avni but didn't he want to talk to mr thakur as that's what he told avni or was that just an excuse he made to avni or something...
