All of them had to leave the academy...

They handed in their uniforms.

Maanya tells the lady officer that she loved Akaash and now shes lost everything her dreams, hopes, love etc

The lady officer allows Maanya to keep Akaash uniform

All of them are outside walking out of the academy where Maanya stops to salute the flag just like her father

The rest of the gang do the same and the episode ends there
