May be he already had a cat called Gauri ??

Or Alternatively

May be because his Dog stammers while barking ??

I know right...but atleast Aamir's dog liked the name Shahrukh...SrK said that he tried to name his dog Aamir and his dog went on a hunger strike..he said..woof woof...koi bhi naam rakho do...Aamir naam mat rakhna...itni beizzati mujhse bardasht nahi hogi😭

Then it was SRk's fault...he tried a wrong name for a wrong species...A chimp would have possibly been more compatible to the name😆
