He bought a house and inherited the dog that lived there. The previous owner loved SRK and gave the name to his dog.

When Aamir got the dog, he wrote a big blog post about his dog SRK and how SRK was licking his feet and other disgusting-sounding stuff. He was just trying to be funny but Aamir has never had any wit or charm so it ended up sounding really bad.

And yeah he had to go on TV and apologize because he was getting a lot of flak for it. He also called SRK's children to apologize for being nasty to their father.
