it's really hilarious tht these so called sanskari bahu's tell their on-screen daughters & bahu's to wear decent stuff & to avoid the page 3 parties & to always behave decently & to always decently dressed up !!! but in reality they themselves don't follow their so called sanskars 😆 😆 😆 !!!

tht means what they all preach in their shows is just for the sake of earning money only !!! 😕 i guess being a tv actress & doing a role of some decent ,dignified & strong INDIAN women these actressess have got some social reponsibility on their shoulders too !!! being a celeb always means tht social responsibilty toward society as many ppl look upto them ,INDIA women relate a lot to the roles which these actressess paly on-screen !!! but seeing them totally opposite in real life might be giving super shocks to the women & girls who relate with these actreesess on-screen role & being a tv actress i guess there is no need of any skin show !!! 🤢

i can understand tht in movies the actressess have to expose & doing item numbers ,but on tv there is no such types of indecent compulsions !!!

it's really very very serious matter !!! that is what kiran bedi (the 1st lady IPS officer told in the show lead india on star one & there was a grave discusion on this matter of dressing sense of indin ladies , the conclusion was tht a girl shud be MODESTLY dressess up whether she wears a western outfit or indian outfits )

i really cannot afford to see mallika sherawat doing the role of GODDESS SEETA IN MOVIE RAMAYAN !! 🤢 neither i cannot afford to see the lady who is palying the role of GODESS SITA in show RAMAYAN ON NDTV IMAGINE by sagar production !!! in any indecent stuff off-screen that wud really spoil the dignified image of her on-screen image & the respect tht i have in my eyes for tht actress in my sub-conscious mind !!

i guess if one is playing a modest character on-screen then tht actress try to maintain her modest & dignified image off-screen also just like SAKSHI TANWAR (PARVATI) ,DIVYANKA TRIPATHI (VIDYA ) ,SMRITI IRANI (former tulsi ) etc......... 😛

MY PRECIOUS SUGGESTION TO all the tellywood ladies is tht there is no need of deliberate skin show ,plz!! wear dignified western ,indian ,indo-western decent costumes off-screen !! we all wud love u more n more then !!!! just follow ur boss EKTA KAPOOR ,EKTA IS ALWAYS DECENTLY & MODESTLY DRESSED UP !!! 😛 😛

they can wear what they like. in the shows they're playing a character....does not mean that is what they should be like in real life.

i guess thats where we have to keep in mind that they are actors and they do just that...they pretend to be something or someone that theyre not.

I agree with mittijalebi. They are actors and we must be intelligent enough to distinguish between real life and reel life.

The stuff Ekta shows in her TV soaps is highly unreal. All her female characters are highly rich, adorned with jewellry and make-up even while they go to sleep, wearing sari types. Now honestly tell me, how many of you, yourself or anybody in your family wear saris everyday with makeup and jewellry (unless you have a job like modelling for saris or something). To tell them to emulate such ways of life in real life is highly impractical.

Social responsibility to the public? C'mon. Most of them aren't even OF AGE yet. Prachi Desai, just finished her boards last year, she's just a teenager who's playing a mother in her serial. Her job is to be a good actor, not to be a role-model for the public. She is too young to be encumbered with that responsibility, and plus its not fair to her at all.

Well ok I'll explain the analogy by twisting it around so if somebody in a programme is a vamp, does that make the person a vamp in real life too, with a responsability to all the vamps in the world? 😆

Oh and one last thing, when I see an actor who comes off completely different as her/his onscreen-character, then guess what? That I feel is the mark of an excellent actor/actress. Isn't that what acting is about, pretending to be someone you're not. You honestly think actors are like that in real life? And if they've managed to portray to someone completely different to them on-screen so convincingly then well haven't they done their job of ACTING well? 😛 Afterall anybody can act like themselves. It takes guts and oodles of talent to portray a character you're not like at all.
