Yes martial arts may not be a miracle solution but then again why let perfect be the enemy of good? We have seen that the laws hardly act as a deterrent for these animals, so isn't it better to take precautions and measures yourself instead of relying on some one else? It may not solve the problem entirely but at least it will give women and children a fighting chance.

I really want to know what those boys/men think when they plan such a heinous crime. I don't even want to start with your Mom, sister, daughter because even those haven't been spared. I've heard news where Dad, brother and uncles rape girls for years and mothers say, apne hi toh hai
I'm not feeling proud to say that but I think girls nowdays should go out with pepper sprays and knives kept into their purses. I've always believed that girls shouldn't have to fear being raped or harmed in any way, create such a place for her. But unfortunately, day by day it's getting worse.
Moral education and gender inequality is as much responsible as inefficient laws against rapists.
