A pretty decent actor. Not award worthy not even bad.

Nope, he was extremely wooden and...expressionless!

Basically, he was the Sid Malhotra of his time.

no,he is very limited as an actor.the only movie where i liked john as an actor was madras cafe.that's it.

Decent sometimes . But overall he is awful of an actor .I still can't forget his acting in houseful , he was so terrible in it , ruined whole movie for me ( not that the movie was masterpiece sans him ) .
