I saw a poll asking which Dhoom was best.

Dhoom 1 is getting the most votes. People said John Abraham was phenomenal in it. I don't remember much of Dhoom except the item songs where of poor quality.

It did not have the special effects and locations of Dhoom 2 and 3.

Despite this it is wining.

John acts well. I liked him in Dhoom, Rocky Handsome, shoot out at Wadala, water, New York and Madras cafe. Serious roles suit him.

I watched his 4-5 movies, he is an average actor.

No, he is very limited. Yes he has acted adequately at times, but he is terrible most of the times.

I love this guys acting!! I rate him very high, plays his roles superbly, especially in action movies!!

In No Smoking and Madras Cafe, yes, otherwise no. He was decent in Water too.

That tells you that a good director can get something out of him, but left on his own he is pretty bad.
