What do film studios have to gain from signing star Kids?

The problem is film studios and the media heavily back star Kids.

Despite these films flopping and studios losing so who is footing the bill?

I hope they continue to lose their money by continuing to give big budget projects to star Kids.

This in a way is Karma.

Studios are corporate money. They have to show results fast to their investors. So easiest thing to do is go to established industry names mainly in the form of stars or if they need newcomers then wheelers and dealers like Kjo. They show executives all the media attention starkids get as sign of public interest in them and convince them to sign them up. Again that's the Mafia Kangana was talking about.

This goes on and cluelessly they sign starkids for astronomical sums of money like HR or Ranbir getting 40 cr and above for duds like BV, BB, MD.

Strong political and underworld connections. For ex Sanjay has signed two movies. Kabhi soch ke dekho how did he pay his lawyers, bail money, funding his daughter who always lived in the US, misc expenses and did few movies despite ongoing criminal proceedings for so long.

I don't trust these media outlets either who are also trying to push star Kids onto the public. Who is paying them?

Arjun Kapoor was given a Vogue India cover recently to help promote his film. Despite that film flopping and the many flops before that film.

I dont see Vidyut, Sushant, Randeep etc given Vogue covers to promote their films.

What happens after they lose money?

If a star kid continues to give flops you would have to be stupid to not see it is a bad investment for a new project signing them on again.

Rumor has it that rich parents of these star kids put in their money to launch kids and the face of that money is the studio.

Shetty and Pancholi had invested money to launch their kids in Hero and it was sold under SK's name (mutual friend).

I am pretty sure parents of starkids are paying to launch them. There has to be no other explanation. Previously the families launched their kids themselves, but now they pay the studios to do so.

That Jain guy for instance who is launching under his grandfather Raj Kapoor's name. Even we can predict he won't go far. But Adi is launching him ? That girl Anya seems to have more potential. Harsh for instance. Who believes ROM saw him and cast for Mirzya and he was cast for his second film without any movie releasing ? Not me.
