To me, it doesn't matter who all repeated this 'news'... if one of them tried to get a confirmation from Ranbir and should have got one, then they could write that it got confirmed by him.
Since a long while, I get the feeling that there is a kind of war in the filmindustry - behind the scene...maybe a money-power-thing... but also the endeavour to harm certain actors/actresses and production houses... and social media has become increasingly helpful in that matter - with false praises and false criticism, with superficial judgements and orchestrated campaigns. It's a very destructive way...
(and even then I'm always like "I'll wait and see"
