Well many things are not matching up with what we were told at the time of leap. The reason Simran would turn negative would be because just like Raj, she will think that Preet is responsible for Raman's death. I am actually surprised it's been 5 months since the leap and there is no investigation on Raman's death yet. How long will it take Mohini to get exposed? Getting to the change of Sakshi's character, I seriously think there is no need to get a different actress for that role. Rather they can clear out the misunderstanding Raj has over Preet.

Before the leap, there was an article citing that Gunjan, Aman and his father would all be negative characters. I expected a married Gunjan to turn get jealous of Manu after finding out that she got to be Shah despite actually being a girl. I thought that, as well as her in law's encouragement/greed, would push her to go against Preet and fight for the position of Shah either for herself or for Aman. However, none of that happened and Gunjan turned out to be pretty helpful instead.
Ankita reentered KRPKAB after a break. If this show is still on by the time she finishes her new movie, maybe she'll reenter this show as a negative character. Who knows?
