Before the leap, there was an article citing that Gunjan, Aman and his father would all be negative characters. I expected a married Gunjan to turn get jealous of Manu after finding out that she got to be Shah despite actually being a girl. I thought that, as well as her in law's encouragement/greed, would push her to go against Preet and fight for the position of Shah either for herself or for Aman. However, none of that happened and Gunjan turned out to be pretty helpful instead.
Ankita reentered KRPKAB after a break. If this show is still on by the time she finishes her new movie, maybe she'll reenter this show as a negative character. Who knows?

Well many things are not matching up with what we were told at the time of leap. The reason Simran would turn negative would be because just like Raj, she will think that Preet is responsible for Raman's death. I am actually surprised it's been 5 months since the leap and there is no investigation on Raman's death yet. How long will it take Mohini to get exposed? Getting to the change of Sakshi's character, I seriously think there is no need to get a different actress for that role. Rather they can clear out the misunderstanding Raj has over Preet.

In one of the episodes Jagan revealed that Amba had squashed the Raman murder case by bribing the cops due to fear of manu getting arrested. That is rubbish like I had mentioned earlier. Manu's pistol would have clearly indicated that no fire was shot. Besides Amba had good chance of getting Harjeet arrested for shooting Simran. Another point is since amba knew manu never shot Raman, even after squashing the case she could have investigated ta her personal level. In a pind that is easy. Te CVs became too obsessed with crafting raj MU track. A huge mistake.

I personally was happy to see a grown up gunjan very protective about manu. She was prone to negativity as a kid. But must have changed after knowing that manu is a sis and not a bro and what tribulations her mother had to go through due to society's gender discrimination. The mother's sacrifice for her daughters must have made her into a positive person. Let her remain that way. Always loyal to her maika. At least someone is having positive experience of life in this serial.

Gunjan realised the importance of relationships after Simran died. When she found out that Manu was a girl rather than a boy, she probably became more protective of her. Being positive and off screen is better than being negative and onscreen.

I don't think characters ever permanently disappear from a soap. They are just kept at bay and suddenly when the CVs have nothing else to show, they'll bring in these characters again. Wether they are positive or negative will depend upon the CVs at that point in time and what the soap requires at that point in time to keep the audience glued.
