This showed up on my timeline...

She's born and brought up in Mumbai and can't even speak one word of Hindi properly and wants to be an entitled actor getting a free debut in the HINDI film industry. Absolutely ridiculous!! I doubt she's the only one too.

Star kids get worse every generation.

She understands and speaks Hindi. It is just that she's not fluent in it. So what? Why does one need to be fluent in Hindi?

Many elite Mumbaites/stars/star kids think its beneath them to speak in Hindi. In all probability Sridevi being a Tamiliab might have made them speak in Tamil at home and outside they converse in Eng.

I have heard Esha/Aahana Deol too spoke in Tamil but hardly knew Punjabi.

Indians can't speak Hindi...and want to enter BW industry just because they are entitled star kids🤪...and people make fun of Kittykat who atleast works hard ..👍🏼

Hasn't Katrina been mocked for not knowing Hindi but working in the BW which is basically Hindi movie industry??

I grew up in Mumbai too and while my Hindi is certainly better than hers, it's not great either. If I had to choose I would prefer to speak in English, because I'm more fluent.

And it looks like the same with her. She can understand and speak it, but has an accent which is making her conscious. Big deal. She'll get the hang of it.

ETA - If after 5 years in the industry, she still can't speak properly, we can mock her too 😊

This is peak privilege, ready to debut in a BW film but unable to speak a few sentences in Hindi 😕

The lady's tweet is quite weird, everyone living in India doesn't speak Hindi 😆 Although Jhanvi has been getting groomed to become an actress, so she should have working knowledge of Hindi, so many resources available to learn. Only going to gym and spa is not enough to impress.

I will mock her from Day one...if Sri wanted her to enter BW she should have made sure that her girl knew Hindi...there are other star kids from Mumbai...all of them are fluent in Hindi...Alia...Varun...Sonam...there are so many with good Hindi speaking skills.
