On a lighter note. CVs suffer from deep sense of amnesia is the right answer. Since they forget to keep tab on certain details they innocently consider audience too suffering from the same illness. 🤪

I had always thought a Mangalsutra is a sacred thread or chain that the husband makes his wife wear and she wears this very chain with much pride however life has become so modern that in my country if you do see a married woman they very much unlikely to wear their Mangalsutra

I personally feel that this magalsutra thing is grossly overrated all thanks to our daily soaps. I mean come on. Like really, who believes that just because a girl is wearing magalsutra, she is someone's wife?

I am a theatre actress and for certain roles I have to wear magalsutra and sindoor. That does not mean that I am married to whoever is playing my husband's role.

If magalsutra was so all powerful then there would be no reason to register marriages. Mangalsutra, sindoor and saat pheras would suffice. Why do we have marriage registrar and stuff?

Preet keeps on bragging that she is married to Raj , but does she have any proof? No. If at all anyone asks for legal evidence, then she has none.

Our daily soaps just try to romanticise sindoor and magalsutra. Ek chutki sindoor ki Kumar tum kya Jano? and all that rubbish.

I know my opinion is rather harsh and some might get offended but this obsession that daily soap FLs have with mangalsutra just irritated me and I had to get it out of my system. 😕😳
