The world that any fandom sees on Social Networking Sites is nowhere close to the real world.
My parents watch NB. They love Sanam and Abigail. They watch their performance, appreciate them and my mom probably also voted for them a couple of times and that's it. If their fav win they will be happy for like 10 secs. If they loose they will probably have a quick chat about the TRP game and move on to a different show that very next day.
So people who spend 8 hours of their life on forums like these think they can make or break someone's career while in reality its the TRP aunties who take the call. If this was not the case every show that had best Jodis would sustain for ever and shows that have ghosts as leads would shut shop, but as I see that's not the case at all.
To sum it up, Sanam and Abigail have a fan base outside the virtual world. Those fans show genuine affection and appreciation and neither these two lovely people nor their fans have time to waste on pointless fights and politics. At the end of the day they will go back with respect from audience, judges and makers while I cannot say the same for the rest.
