During the launch event on World Environment Day, Salman spoke to the media about the dangers of riding recklessly. He advised youngsters to race on dedicated racing tracks and not out on the roads.

The actors comment gave Twitterati a chance to recall the hit-and-run case against Salman, back in 2002. Although Salman was declared innocent by the Bombay High Court, many on Twitter had a field day trolling the actor. Here is what some had to say:

Salman Khan is pretty active on social media specifically on Instagram and Twitter. He keeps his fans updated with photos from movies sets and with his family. While millions of followers love the actor, there are many Internet trolls who make fun of Bhai.

When Salman was asked about online trolls and whether they affect him, Salman replied, "If they think they do, then they will be very sadly mistaken, I don't check my Twitter or Instagram, anymore. Earlier, it started as a mere joke I believe and people are now taking it to another level. I am shocked that people can stoop to this level. There was a time when these people used to think that Twitter is an iron curtain behind which these trollers could do anything, I tracked 15 people in 2 days. I will put out the details one day but I refrained because then their parents would be affected and I did not want that to happen."

Salman's next movie is Tubelight which is directed by Kabir Khan. The movie is slated to release on June 23, 2017.

He will also be paired opposite Katrina Kaif after 5 years in Tiger Zinda Hai. When asked about working with Katrina in TZH, Salman said, "It's always been good working with her. She is one of the hardest working actresses that I have ever met. Till today when she gets a song to do, she rehearses those songs for 6 hours for 6-8 days. So, now she is doing action sequences or Tiger Zinda Hai for about 6 days, the action team is saying, bas ho gaya ab jao but she is like I want to do it again. She is basically harrowing them but eventually, it is going to look good because she is working hard for it."

Tiger Zinda Hai is slated for a Christmas 2017 release.

For some reason I like this guy. He has sense of humor. When he will leave Bollywood, I will miss him. He is funniest superstar we have. Something that is so freaking rare. Never takes himself seriously. I hope he finds someone who cares about him. 😆

FOD - Did he really manage to track 15 people or is it faking news?
He is right about one thing , why embarrass parents of trolls. Imagine police knocking to say " your son attacked Sallu on Twitter "
