Anika is not WEAK by any means, she is stronger than Shivaay as she has faced hardships all her life due to the lack of parents from a young age.

Anika knows that for Shivaay, Oberois and he are one and the same. There is no separation between the two. Even after the words were hurled by Shivaay, you do not know what having a mother means, she felt the pain that Shivaay would undergo when the truth of Mahi and his would come out. She thought about this when he was talking to Om in the kitchen. This shows her strength, her spine of steel.

Pinky is playing downright dirty and in the end she is going to be the LOSER. Like Kaikeyi, she sent Lord Rama to the forest and repented for her one rash decision that changed the course of the Raghukul. She spend the rest of her days pining for her son and yearning for forgiveness. She was a good mother but she is always remembered for her ONE rash act. Guess it is Pinky's turn to go down that path. Anika will be the pillar of support during the ordeal that Shivaay faces when the truth comes out about Pinky.

I don't know, I'm extremely disappointed at times with annika, but then we are all thinking from our POV here about what annika should do or shouldn't do!

Well the Annika is not lost but has transformed more into Shivay's Annika. She has a husband with whom she is dreaming a secure life. She has a family where most of the people genuinely care for her. Yes, she has a brother who is sheltered and loved by her man too. So its kind of complicated for her now. She can be dabang with outsiders but not with family members. Her sense of truth and lie is still intact. And she acted upon it in her real avtaar only. Little did she know that you dont play with same weapons when it comes to your family. Right ? She should have been tactful knowing Shivay love for his family, This is what she realized when she apologized. Annika will not directly fight with Pinky anymore. She has done her part and its upto Shivay to figure out the veracity of her accusations.
