She kept harping about how she is the hero of the film and then when it tanked it becomes unfair to blame her? Every hero gets blamed when their movie tanks.

Her Masand's interview was 2 weeks after the release where she accepted the failure hurt and didn't know how she could have changed the outcome from her contributions. She mentioned the need to grow and move on.😉

So she is not far off from your recommended next steps.

Lastly, she always went around with "3 heroes". People didn't like she when called herself a "hero"🤓. In the end, the so called "heroes" couldn't help her at all.

Thus she is better off working on her own woman centric films as she will be certainly held accountable for FAILURE but be considered "part of a great team" when the film in a success! 😆

I see what you mean. This right there is her biggest shortcoming. She needs to learn how to gracefully take compliment. 2 or 4 top scenes don't make difference. Certainly not to BO. If big budgeted movie is failing, guard the tongue even more and remark on hard work everyone did on movie. Every big budget failure is a big loss. The people involved will always look for scape goat. And kangs made it super easy by taking lead.

She still has some learning curve left on how to navigate press world and not alienate people around her- be it colleagues or press. But where credit is due she is fast learner. TBH, she deserves different kind of movies. Working in only Female centric movies will stunt her growth. She needs to learn to play as team. 😊
