If that's strategy then everything Maya did till date are also strategies.
You don't win cases by stopping witnesses from testifying but by providing enough evidence to counteract the witness's statements. Saanjh's just beating around the bush and nothing else. She doesn't even have one piece of evidence. And the judge sitting there is not VM who'll believe everything that Saanjh tells her without solid proof.
By keeping away Samay she's presenting her own fictitious version of story and tomorrow even if Samay give his statement, the court will doubt the credibility of his words. What she did was tampering with evidence and if any complained against her she'll lose credibility as a lawyer and will never be able to practice again.
And using Saanjh, supporting and truth in same sentence is absurd. She's not trying to get justice for Ayaan, she's just taking her personal revenge from Maya.
