The other day I had a really silly idea for a film. A girl who never falls in love and acts so tough. At first the story seems like it will be a typical rom-com but it ends up being kind of like Queen. I even thought of a dance number too for the main heroine. She will have the nickname pirate as she is so tough around guys so in her dance number; she dresses like a pirate and dances on some ship. It's supposed to be her imagination so of course it's silly.
The dance was supposed to be fun with positive lyrics of a girl going through a break up.
I don't know...I'm weird I guess. Have you ever thought about these things too?

Hehe, cute!

As for me, oh don't even get me started, my imagination knows no bounds 😃 ..I've imagined a lot of stories that could be made into movies.. I am a movie scriptwriter, director, sometimes even actress - in my la la land ofcourse. ☺️

I have many to list here.

1 --- Two protagonists. A man who works in a software company with a respectable position is relentlessly pursued by his neighbour or co-worker. The man is robotic, OVERLY practical/realistic, very hardworking, has a dry sardonic sense of humor, too reserved.

The woman is a romantic, clumsy, messy girl with her head in the clouds! 😃 The guy is just skeptical about her because she looks like a piece of work to him.. but they have a weird chemistry despite such opposing personalities... one has what the other totally lacks :)

This movie will have strong conversations - some funny, some deeply philosophical, some satirical/comical..

2 ---- A movie that begins with a college reunion, all the middle aged 40-50 year old alumni meet up and their lives are reconnected. It will star a few 90s hero/heroines :p

It will be a drama - represent lives of all of them and the problems which are inevitable in all middle-aged people's lives and ofcourse the friendship between them.. It will depict each person's life path - like one divorcee, one couple who have issues with their teens, one couple where one of them goes through health issue, one couple who are growing distant but love each other. This move also will have many dialogues..

3 --- A movie about a 21 year old girl full of dreams like every youth that age, but her life falls apart when diagnosed with cancer. The movie will not show the diagnosis, chemo and all, but will fast forward 3-4 years - start with her meet with doctor where he congratulates her on her cancer-free life henceforth(is under remission). So, this movie will focus on how she finds a new passion for life - how she is now happy with little things in life - she has a passion for life, but will also show her ways of coping with memories in hospital, her fears whenever she sees even a pimple, and how she fights her fears, it will also show parent-child relation - not just support but also the way parents' faith or emotional balance tips when they deal with such situations(patient's fears).. It will be very realistic and will be like a commentary by the girl as life keeps happening to her...

I think it will be a boring movie, but it will relate to lots of people with health problems... also, it will be light-hearted with moments of darkness... I have everything on my mind but cannot quite write here :p

4 ---- A story about a tourist, she falls in love with India, and her happy-go-lucky tourist guide. Despite their love and unknown connection both feel and kind of confess, they will not marry each other however, as she is married to exploring the Indian culture from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and is always on the go - but they both keep meeting/catching up for chats in Delhi/Goa, where she settles down (kind of like her base area) as an expat.. It will focus on their connection, and mostly on Indian culture from an expat's eyes, the way they see India.. and what makes them so attracted and settle down here. Won't be linear but goes in and out, back and forth in past and present.

5 ---- A psychological movie, loosely based on Crime and Punishment - set in 1930s in India.

6 ---- A movie about a girl who loves money/career. She is fed up of human relationships, not just romantic relationships. She loves her parents, she has love for everyone but is actually fed up of dealing with everyone... she calls herself selfish, says she can only be bothered by money, books, movies, music. Although she loves men, drools over handsome men - she is just turned off and runs away whenever a man shows any interest.. She is plain fed up and has vowed not to maintain any human relationships other than her parents, grandma... She goes through phases of self-doubt, and the ending will not be like she has changed her mind... but will show a man smiling at her and she also just smiling and looking away. :p ...The movie will have voice-over of the girl speaking up her outlook - it will be a satirical commentary!

All my movies will have different socio-political viewpoints as reflections(in voice-over) or conversations juxtaposing different viewpoints - not exactly preaching one kind of view...

Suggest you demand money from Angel like Devil for making your biopic , if she doesn't agree sue her...after all the movie is about girl who loves money ...and she has to fight for what she loves

P.S - you owe me 15% of what you get from ALD...5% less than what Reshma Shetty charges...so it's a good deal

Even I'm a weirdo. I've thought of some movie plots that run in my mind which are even more weird than me.

1. The story is about a 30 year old kind-hearted poet who lives in a fantasy world. He thinks that love is enough for people to live a happy life. He's from a rich family and never faced any problems in his life coz of that. He expects the world to be idealistic. He's also a philantrophist who helps the poor and needy people. He meets a 15 year old girl who is a movie Superstar who has the rags to riches story. The girl is much more mature and practical than her age coz of the struggles she faced early in her life in making her career. They both become friends despite their age differences. The story is about how the girl teaches the man about the hard realities of life, how the people in this world aren't that great and how you sometimes have to get your motive. The movie will contain some deep conversations. There will be no love story between the guy and The girl and they will only share a platonic relationship.

2. A guy in his 30s gets up from coma after 18 years. He's a grown up man now but has a heart of only a 12 year old. Flashback is shown and it's revealed that the guy is from a very rich family and his whole family died in a car accident 18 years ago and he went to coma coz of that only. The guy is all alone now. His whole family is dead. So he decides go on a tour to explore the world. In the journey he meets different type of people and gets alot of knowledge about life which he was supposed to learn in his teenage years but he also misses his parents. At the end of the movie the guy grows up and becomes mature and lives his life happily despite being alone.
The movie will be a comedy drama with high on emotions.

3. A guy and a girl are friends. They both have many things in common. Both are shattered with life. Both have lost their loved ones and are completely alone in this world and are very depressed. So they decide to live together to help each other from coping up with depression. They don't love each other but give each other sexual pleasures, try to make each other laugh and try to give some hope in life when they themselves don't have any hope left. The movie will contain many deep and philosophical conversations with high on emotions.

4. A guy is depressed with his life and hates his family. He isn't social at all and doesn't wants to follow the social norms and he finds the people living in the society fake. He thinks that people only pretend to care about their family and others when they are actually selfish and only care about themselves. He falls in love with a mentally challenged girl who lives in his neighbourhood. He likes that girl coz he finds her caring and not fake as she's a kid from heart. The guy becomes a close friend of the girl and also a father figure to her, though he was in love with her but he never tells her as he knows that the girl will never know the meaning of true love.
This movie will be a romantic comedy.

I really hope some Bollywood director stalks this thread. 😆

I'll definitely do that when this movie gets made, I'll remember ALD. And you. But first I'll see which actress is roped in, if it's Alia or Pari then I'll sue for double.

I can't help imagining BW actors in these movies..

1. Saif and Alia. Saif is the typical richie rich boy who seems clueless to me about the real world. Lol. Alia can pass of as a teenager and can do practical roles well I think. Thank god for no love story.

2. This film is tailor-made for Ranbir Kapoor. Aise hi toh roles karta hai wo. He has expressions for just these kind of roles warna in Rajneeti he gave a tough competition to Katrina for being expressionless. 😆 God I hate him.

3. I think if this movie is ever made by Imtiaz, it's going to star RK-DP cuz it would resonate so well with their reality lol

4. Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline. Arjun seems permanently in depression and Jackie really seems challenged with the amount of giggling that she can't help. Weird pairing though.
