@Sunetra, your second part has literally brought tears in my eyes. This is exactly what I feel what the character might be going through as a mother when I watch her fighting tooth and nail against an evil. I am so glad that there are many others whose perspective is similar to mine. This will remain one of the best stories I have ever read or will read on IF.

I always feel that I can't juggle with words like the other wonderful writers of this forum and your words have made me feel a bit confident about myself. If you have appraised me for the lines, then 😭. The song is "aaji bangladesher hriday hotey" from "Swadesh" parjaay. I know you must have heard it, but if somehow you have missed it then go for Hemanta Mukherjee's rendition.
