Ranbir is a very good actor, he has that ability in him that he is able to rise against a bad script and still deliver. One example is Rockstar, imo that was a horrible film and I didn't understand it at all but Ranbir's performance kept me glued to the screen and he truly wowed me. Put any other actor in that film and It would have been trash
Same goes for films like BV as well, as panned as it was his performance was greatly appreciated. Also he is able to add depth into simple characters such as his roles in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Bachna Ae Haseeno, ADHM and YJHD. Has TM seen Rocket Singh? that was a phenomenal performance by him which was sadly not appreciated much and Barfi was just greatSo yes he is a good actor and one of the best currently, he has the ability to slip into any role with ease and I am sure he will give another superb performance this year in Dutt.
