Bachna Ae Haseeno: Bipasha

Barfi: Priyanka

YJHD: Deepika

ADHM: Aishwarya

The only films he fared better was when he was cast opposite Katrina (Rajneeti, Ajab prem ki gazab kahani), Nargis (Rockstar), but that is not saying much! Even in Saawariya, though he won all the best debut awards Sonam was actually slightly better. He mostly has the same expressions and plays a man child in too many movies.

So please enlighten me if he is actually a good actor?

His performance in BV is said to be the only good thing in the entire film. It revieced rave reviews even tho the film was panned by the critics. It shows how phenomenal he's as an actor who can even shine in terrible films. Absolutely class apart.

He's the best actor of this generation & a gen before that and has potentials to become all time great.

Very limited but he is good in certain roles. Getting worse with each movie though.His peak years were with WUS and Barfi.

As for this generation, he is far from the best. The likes of Raj Kumar Rao and Vicky Kaushal are much better.

In-fact if Shushant carries on the way he is going, I would put him ahead too. Kai Po Che, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! and the Dhoni all are very good performance. DBB in particular, especially when you consider how spectacularly Ranbir failed in BV (a similar enough movie). BV has issues with screenplay but they were made even worse by whatever Ranbir was doing.

The scene with him and Karan near the end says it all. It was hilariously bad. Put two actors who are worth it, in the same scene and watch it become so much better.

Like I said extremely limited. For now at-least.

He is better than anyone from this generation (may be, not sure) but that's it, he is good as an actor but not really great
