I myself am not but its good to hear these stories and how they have dealt with it.

I know SRK and Akshay Kumar is a rags to riches story.

Is there anyone where it is the opposite. Riches to rags.

There are also some Bollywood celebs who do not have much money and live modestly.

Those that also do not have much money but give the impression they are wealthy.

Someone here once mentioned that Anil Kapoor is not as rich as he seems.

SRK as highest tax payer once but now in no where in top 10 or 20. Even baby Alia has surpassed him now.
Kapoors are also poor.

jacki shroff officially declared bankruptcy some years ago

really wonder what he does for a living though..doubt he gets much by 2 min cameos he keeps doing

Most of the yesteryear's actors who are not a politician or whose sons/daughters couldn't become an actor/producer are not doing great financially.

They start getting important supporting roles, endorsements, shop inauguration and other money-spinners when their kids join BW. This is the reason some actors are desperate to make their kids a BW hero/heroine though they know their kids can't survive. Beta/Beti badi hero/heroine nahin ban paya toh kya, 3-4 saal ke liye ghar mein laxmi toh aate rahenge.

And when they see, their kids have no future in BW, they marry off their ex-hero/heroine kids to some billionaire's or big politician's kid.. Like Bobby, Fardeen, Vivek, Esha, Shahid and others were by their parents. Toh bankrupt hone ki naubat hi nahi aati.

Probably gets rent from apartments, offices, shops she owns.

+ Because of her link up with Big B she's still relevant. Relevant yesteryear actors mostly earn money from shop inaugurations... film fest type events outside India.. and other works.
