I have read so may posts stating that Sadiq needed to die , he deserved it...hell he deserved worse punishment that death and so on...and it hurts me coz I feel we all have missed the main point here and WRITERS ARE TO BE BLAMED FOR THIS !

I get what u all r saying.

the problem is these guys left so many unanswered questions when it comes to Siddhant which I have mentioned in another thread

Writers got very inconsistent with his character.

I won't say I felt disconnected to Siddhant towards the end..Infact I felt so bad when he died that I cried !

U know why

Because I saw beyond the fact that he did a big mistake coz of which Sartaj got killed.

I saw how a brave soldier , a lively guy , a loyal friend , a loving brother , a faithful husband , the best student , would be father died an extremely tragic death of a TERRORIST

how his ONE MISTAKE overshadowed all his good deeds.

He helped in release of Imaan and Sartaj
He agreed to die instead of Imaan
He was the man who stayed behind during the war coz his 2 friends were stuck..he did not leave them behind.
He was the man who loved unconditionally..pain couldn't break him but love for a child did
He was also the man who would never see his child's face , who while dying knew that he was wrong and he got played , who knew that he disappointed his sis , mentor and friends and above all his own country.
He was the man who's all good deeds and qualities no body remembered and wanted him to die.
Even Imaan thought of planting RDX and Sartaj went on to plant it but both realised their mistake well before time and rectified it.

But it got too late for SIDDHANT. He had reached a point of no return.

He was the man whose perspective people will never want to understand...that he went through so much for the past 17 years. He was only HUMAN !

Like many had said that they would want to see this reality but I was always afraid that the writers will make a mess of it and they did !

People themselves said that 'A SOLIDER IS A HUMAN AND CAN CHANGE ' BUT WHEN THAT HAPPENED MOST PEOPLE GOT DISCONNECTED TO HIM AND EVEN WANTED HIM TO DIE OR SUFFER.
THEY DIDN'T SEE HIM AS A HUMAN BUT AS A TERRORIST...PEOPLE SAID WHY PUT TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON SOLDIERS BUT HERE THIS IS WHAT WE ALL DID !
HOW CAN SIDDHANT DO IT ! HE NEEDS TO DIE ! THIS IS WHAT MANY OF US HOPED
BUT DID THE THOUGHT CROSS OUR MINDS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HE MUST HAVE GONE THROUGH..YES HE WAS A SOLDIER BUT HE WAS A HUMAN TOO BUT MOST OF US REFUSED TO SEE THAT HUMAN SIDE AND GAVE OUR JUDGEMENT - HE NEEDS TO DIE ! HE IS A TERRORIST ! AND THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED ! NO BODY UNDERSTOOD HIM AND HE WAS TERMED AS A TERRORIST.
AREN'T WE ALL TOO HARSH NOW ON A SOLDIER...WHEN EARLIER WE WANTED THE MAKERS TO SHOW THIS HUMAN SIDE OF SOLDIERS N TO SHOW THEM VULNERABLE !
BUT NOW INSTEAD OF SEEING HOW HUMAN HE WAS., HOW THE ENEMY USED HIS VULNERABILITY AND HUMANITY AGAINST HIM AND PLAYED HIM WE ONLY WANTED TO SEE A STRONG INTELLIGENT LOYAL SOLDIER WHO SHOULD HAVE APPLIED HIS BRAINS ! COZ THIS IS WHAT IS 'EXPECTED' OF A SOLDIER ...AND WE ALL EXPECTED THAT IS WHAT WE ALL DID!
EXPECTED HIM TO BEHAVE LIKE A LOYAL SOLDIER AND COMPLETELY TURNED A BLIND EYE TO HIS VULNERABLE HUMAN SIDE !
ISN'T THIS WHAT WE ALL WANTED !

WE TURNED A BLIND EYE TO SIDDHANT THAKUR - HE WAS THE ONE WHO WAS WRONGED THE MOST !

A once brave soldier died a terrorist ! I cried ! Yes i cried at the tragedy !

And that is why I BLAME THE WRITERS !

my heart went out to him...I cried for a man he once was and what he could have been if time was on his side.

For me he was the most tragic character of this show who did wrong and but was the one who was wronged the most !
AND MOST OF THE PEOPLE MISSED THE WHOLE POINT ! AND WRITERS ARE TO BE BLAMED FOR THIS !

Anshvi I totally relate to your frustration. Sidanth was my Top5 too. I accepted his change also, but for me forgiving a terrorist is not easy Thanks to my personal experience. It hurted me when Sartaj died . Like Iman I too had lost one friend of mine in 26/11 attack. So I cannot forgive and terrorist. Trust me when the Kargil Kargil flashbacks of the trio and Vikbha flashbacks of Sid before th war was shown I cried badly...
And for the point He was ready to die for Iman. I say it is the duty of Soldiers to save their senior officers. Also when they both had to hit eachother for Sartaj It was Iman who asked Sid to hit him harder..
And also there are 126 episodes merged to 110 episodes. What can one expect?

And that is why I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WRITERS !
ALSO these guys decided in December to make only 110 episode and I expected them to deal with this sensitive issue of Sid's character and trasformation with utmost care so that the viewers can understand exactly what the show intended to showcase.
They knew well in advance that they have 110 episodes..they should have been able to wrap up things in a sensible and logical manner.
So I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WRITERS AS MOST OF US ARE NOT SURE WHAT EXACTLY THEY WANTED TO SHOW ?

These guys had decided in December to make only 110 episodes and that is why I expected them to end evrything in a logical and sensible manner.

I always wanted the writers to deal with Sid's track and trasformation with utmost care but they again messed it up !

The were pretty inconsistent to say the least.

They had ample of time to write a sensible climax and tie all d loose ends...but they have DISAPPOINTED ME BIG TIME COZ MOST OF US ARE NOT SURE WHAT THEY INTENDED TO SHOW !

One one hand Sadiq asked Ibrahim not to fire but he put many civilians as Hostage
Why did he release Mullah Peer
Ibrahim spoke to someone on phone and Sadiq was clueless a about it ! WHY ?
Why did he turn when Afreen called him siddhant and not Sadiq ? WE WILL NEVER KNOW
Why he did not take ISI'S HELP ?
WHY he asked Afreen not to inform anyone that he is Sadiq? Jadun was impressed when he got to know that he was Sadiq and not Sid..ILLOGICAL !
Why he helped in surgical strikes , destroyed most of Jaish and terrorist camps ? Only to gain confidence of India ! PLEASE WRITERS THIS IS SENSELESS !
We will never get sensible answeres of these questions..in fact I doubt if we will ever get any answers.
WRITERS HAVE MESSED IT UP I WOULD SAY !

To tell u the truth I am not very hopeful as to what they will show and clarify after the disappointing last 2 episodes !
Also they might answer that Imaan-Naaz letter issue but to tell u the truth that was least of my concerns and apart from that I am not sure what to expect anymore.

Truth be TOLD ...Climax was all Kind of Meh Affair . It Lacked the All over Punch that was Needed .

I felt it was more of a Phuski Bomb .😆 , so much built up ...and BAAAMMM It comes down form the very first Monday Episodes .
Rush , arrays's of FB's , inconsistency ...and many more .

I'll still give the team the time to answer those questions ... I have been patient so far , so for more 3 epis I'll remain ... 😆

PS: I feel there is no need to answer Imaan-Naaz Letter thingy , because It is not even needed . They both are in comfort zone , its revelation will only put Naaz in Guilt mode . And honestly Imaaan did cheated , strictly my POV.

Yes they may answer this but it will take only 10mins of an episode and both the characters and actors deserve it.Anyhow there are 3 episodes left and I am sure That they will answer about Sid

In my opinion Siddhant's choice was very important the toughest... No one in this show went through the situation like him... For Vikram, Sartaj and Imaan, it was always about India or India and they chose India and I do feel proud of them... But it was Sid for whom it was India vs. Pakistan... He got a chance to hear both sides of the story.. He was the one who experienced love on both sides of the border... He was the one who saw the difference between Indian military and Lala's militants.. He had the first hand experience of the teachings of Lala as well as Vikram... Wisdom shines in the times of turmoils, in the time of dilemmas, in the times when we have to make difficult choices and Siddhant was wise, certainly a wise man.. Writers had shown it.. Very well shown it.. Then suddenly what happened...??

All I can conclude that if a wise and intelligent man like Siddhant can change then perhaps anybody can change.. Anyone.. Does affection, education, upbringing, training play no role in once's decision making capability... Is Lala the most intelligent thing that existed on Earth ?? What can be done to avoid a situation like this ??

If indoctrination is a problem then what is the possible solution or is it that all dance to the tunes of the fate because Sid had everything that was needed to shape up a strong personality, Shobha's love, a respected position in army, unconditional love for the country, Vikram's teachings, a very sharp mind, a very strong will power and sensitivity for human beings and yet he changed... None of all this played any role in preventing him from not getting swayed away by Lala's manipulations..
