DNA REPORT: Katrina and Deepika to be in SRK's next with ALR

Aanand L Rai has been planning his next film with Shah Rukh Khan for over a year now and it's finally going on the floors next month. The director admitted last year that his film will have two leading ladies. For a long time it was being debated if one of these actresses would be Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif. While Sonam Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's names were also tossed around, we can now confirm that Kat and Dips have both been finalised for the film.

Given their history, it's a big deal that they are being cast together. Almost as big as the time Jaya Bachchan and Rekha worked together in Silsila. Reveals a source, "Aanand has been in talks with a few actresses, and has finally sealed the deal with DP and Kat. While there were reports about Deepika replacing Katrina and vice-versa, the film will have both the heroines working together for the first time."

The two actresses don't talk or even acknowledge each other in public, so it will be interesting to see how they will work together. They want to work with SRK and Rai, which is why they agreed to do it. The source adds, "Both the roles in Aanand's film are extremely strong and totally different from the other. The team is planning a big announcement soon. The modalities are being worked out currently."

Deepika's last release Bajirao Mastani saw her sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra, but she had the title role. Katrina has done Jab Tak Hai Jaan with Anushka Sharma. There is no reason for the actresses not to work with each other. Ranbir Kapoor was the bone of contention between them, and now that he is not in the picture, maybe they can finally sort out their differences. Is RK worried?

actually DP and Kat in same movie will be real fun, everyday we will read articles abt the cold war between them, abt ALR and SRK going crazy managing their egos and maybe some occasional news abt cat fights too 😆

I hope this is not true. DP was hinted that her next movie is NOT romantic, and this ALR is romantic. So hopefully this is a rumor. I think she's doing siram or shooti next. But I hope she's not sharing screen with frozen because frozen is already getting free hit with salman and now this film will not be fair
