Varun Dhawan as we know has made a lot of news for going out of the way to prep up for his role in Judwaa 2. The actor in addition to undergoing special weight training for a beefed up look is also taking lessons in Parkour and music for reprising Salman Khans role from the 1997 film.

However, leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez who will play Karisma Kapoor's role in the flick is also busy doing her homework. The 31-year-old is watching Karisma's films to match up to her talent.

When asked if the actress has got some tips from the 90's diva, the Dishoom star revealed, "No, Karisma hasn't given me any tips. But I am watching a lot of her movies. She is an extremely amazing actress."

Apart from Judwaa 2, Jacqueline will be next seen in Reload. Directed by Raj & D.K., the action film is a prequel to Hrithik-Katrina's Bang Bang. Produced by Fox Star Studios, the film is slated for an August 25 release.

Meanwhile, Judwaa 2 will also be retaining two popular dance tracks Oonchi Hai Building and Tan Tana Tan from the original movie.

How exciting is that, isn't it?!

Reportedly, Jacqueline will play a rowdy girl from Mumbai in the movie. However, Taapsee who will be reprising the role of Rambha will be seen as a college girl.

The cast and crew are all set to fly to London to wrap up its first schedule, after which the dance numbers will be shot.

Helmed by David Dhawan, the flick will hit the cinemas on September 29.

It may not be path breaking but not everyone can pull off a Karishma without looking silly, in many of her 90s films. Karishma breathed life into her characters that as an audience it was a treat to watch her. She's known for her fabulous expressions, comic timing and dancing. The problem is that Jacqueline should already possess that talent rather than watch Karishma's films and pick up her demeanour. She should have her own style.

We've obviously not been watching the same Karishma films growing up. Its a shame you can't respect talent. Judwaa 2 may not have won awards or has nothing in it to write home about but I thoroughly enjoyed watching such films whilst growing up. She's way better than the current crop of actresses. I rather watch a Karishma, Juhi or Madhuri on screen than the lukewarm talent Bollywood is producing nowadays.

Haters can't deny Karishma had more popularity than likes of Kajol in late 90's and she gave more success overall too.

If we talk of performances - Karishma in Fiza, Shakti, Zubeidaa, Biwi No.1, Hero No.1 and DTPH was much better than anything K-Jol did. Besides Dushman and Gupt she had no good performances unless you call DDLJ and KKHH pathbreaking 😆

It's another fact that Karishma didn't have Kjo in her life to continue giving films post marriage
