Exactly!! I did find it moving though because all the questions were very pertinent and had to be put out there but why under the guise of this memory loss? That was my problem. All through the conversation, I was like why can't the real Annika minus memory loss be asking all this? It would have much better results. Now, all these questions will be forgotten once the truth about the ML is out. Billu will most probably make it about his trust and his emotions and these questions will again be left unanswered.

Didn't this very Anika claim 3-4 weeks back that she can't even imagine that he'd be capable of loving her? 😆 That she can't even DEAL with the possibility of ever actually having him in her life?

So what does all this vapid questioning achieve now? In the middle of an already existing memory loss mess, we now have this turn of events...frankly the execution is just not working for me...there is an emotional disconnect despite all the pertinent questions that Anika brought up today.

Very true! There's a huge disconnect between that Annika and this Annika! Going by the assumption that this memory loss is fake, and Annika knows there's no future for her and Shivaay because of his NKK, what is she hoping to achieve with these questions? His confession? So has she changed her mind about their love equation? She thinks its possible now? They could have at least shown her thought process. But they won't obviously because they are so hell bent on making this ML look real!!

Most of today's events were repeated...Mrs. K blackmailing Shivaay again, Pinky ranting about Shivaay having changed, Shivaay mumbling something about Anika ki haalat, Anika (being mahaan EVEN in memory loss mode😆) giving lectures on ghar ka beta, bacche ka baap😆

Things picked up slightly in the last scene but Anika's "mujhe kuch yaad nahin" dialogue has become beyond tiresome for me...Shivaay talking about ehsaas and whatnot was also strange to me for some reason😆...didn't feel believable coming in at this point...or perhaps it is my annoyance with this vapid mode of Anika that doesn't let me enjoy anything.

@bold: This I could understand! He's desperate and is trying everything possible for her to remember. But as usual he didn't really pursue it. Became all defensive and unapproachable. What's the harm in telling her that he doubts Tia's intentions and that he and the real Annika were together in trying to expose her, thus, she should give him some time.

Saving grace...him not signing the divorce papers wasn't a mirage...lol he atleast remembers that...but as usual the whole thing is a mess cuz he can't tell Anika anything...just that she is very important for him😕😆...non-memory loss Anika hoti toh woh puchhti ki why is he so shocked that she is asking him to marry Tia...he himself declared this very thing from the very beginning...that he will divorce Anika and marry Tia...lol

This is all getting too convoluted to muddle through now...even for me😆...story needs to move or Anika's memory loss mess needs to be fixed.

Hahaha seriously! As an isolated episode, I really enjoyed it. It had real conversations and Billu shutting up Tej which I loved 😆 but in the larger context, very disconnected.

Bahut lambaa khel chalaa rahe hain dono Shivaay aur Anika...lol...Anika's long game is to trap the NBs and Shivaay's long game is to just keep Anika around...shouldn't these two intentions flow better together rather than moving at odds with each other in a strange muddle? 😕😆

First, the NBs. I won't spend too much time here. If they weren't so stupid, I could almost have laughed at the NB sisters when they basically called Anika dumb. Oh, how wrong they are. With her ML drama, Anika has made them believe she is one of them. She might no know they're sisters, yet but she's definitely figured out there's a link.

Also, she's figured out that Tia is the weakest link. She feels lonely and outcast from her family because of Robin and Anika has posed to her as the only on who understands her pain, her feelings and her love for Robin. I'm guessing the NBs downfall will be due to Tia.

With her ML drama, Anika has trapped Shivaay into an almost catch-22 situation. I've said elsewhere on this forum that Shivaay doesn't feel the need to name this relationship as long as Anika is with him. Even to himself, Shivaay doesn't explain this ehsaas, because Anika is in front of him, in his house, his bedroom and with the way he blackmailed her, coupled with Anika's own love for him, he never felt she would leave.

Until now. The ehsaas is gone. Anika is no longer compelled to stay by him because she feels for him. She's explcitly said she doesn't remember. The nightmare of Anika walking out on him is becoming a reality and Shivaay is panicking. With her memory loss serving as an infallible defense tactic, Anika's asked Shivaay to choose. NOW.

She refuses to be the other woman. He can't marry Tia. He can't explain the divorce. He's afraid to admit he didn't sign the papers because that would lead to further questions. He can't blackmail her because a) Anika doesn't remember - and therefore, might not feel for, anyone, anymore and b) he really doesn't want to fall that low now that she's forgotten the pain. (although I still don't completely trust him on that front). She's basically asked him all the questions she otherwise couldn't have. Shivaay would've just gone "kyon? tumhain kia faraq padta hai?" and the discussion would end.

With the fake ML drama, Anika's engineered a situation where Shivaay's only way out is to confess. Tell her he loves her and that's why she can't leave.

There's no way Shivaay is marrying Tia. So he'll have some explaining to do, regardless. Also, this is the perfect method to bring Robin out from hiding.

Anika's basically killing two birds with one stone. She's back.

A week back, Anika supposedly decided that enough was enough and it was about time that SOMEONE raised the stakes in trying to bring down the NBs...and so comes about a plan to fake a memory loss and REALLY go the distance in convincing EVERYONE that you are now nothing but an empty vessel repeating back anything that is said to you😆...Kisine bola Kalavati, toh tum Kalavati, kisi ne bola tum uski patni, toh tum uski patni...kisi ne bola pati parmeshwar hai, toh you repeat that line till our ears bleed...uptill that point it was still a battle of wills, with Shivaay alternating b/w exasperation and basically threatening Anika to keep her crazy antics in check.

Cut to this week...all of a sudden, the stakes have risen very high for Shivaay also😆...He is feeling OH so sorry about Anika ki HAALAT that suddenly he's found the courage to relatively stand up to Mrs. K also😆...just 3 weeks back when Mrs. K blackmailed him about throwing Anika out, his "solution" was to manhandle Anika into attending Lohri celebrations😕😆.

But today all of a sudden, he is INSTANTLY on the verge of confessing love...not once, but TWICE😆...why? Because Anika ki HAALAT itni kharaab jo hai...and they are being ASSAULTED from all sides by Pinky ka bhaashan ya Mrs. K ka blackmail...is sab ke beech mein "empty vessel mind" Anika has decided to press him on questions about the status of their relationship in such a pointed manner😆

I wonder, was this the right time or right forum to go in this direction? This Anika that supposedly has lost her memory for real as the writers are trying SO hard to push, this Anika wants answers about her place in Shivaay's life NOW? 😆...that too under the guise of endless "Tia ke bacche ka baap" rant? 😆
