Love Is better the Second Time Around

Aarti looked out her window tomorrow is Valentine Day ten and a half month since she and Yashji got married it was their punar vivah. She lovingly caressed her belly she was a little over six months pregnant the only thing she has to show that she is the wife of Yash Scindhia that they consummated their marriage and weren't just co parents living together.

"Aayu baby your papa is out working today and he will not come home until late night I bet he doesn't even know that tomorrow is Valentine's Day nor would he care." Aarti sighed she loved Yash with all her heart but knew and accepted that he did not love her his love belonged to his first wife Aripta who died almost four years ago.

Aarti sat on the nearest chair and looked at the clear moon light sky remembering her past with her first husband Prashant her first and only Valentine with him. They had met in collage during her final year first were friends then fell in love got married after she completed her final exams. Together they spent one V Day together Prashant had done the usual flowers, chocolate, card, dinner and movie. They had exchange small gifts matching gold chains and pendants, promised to love each other for a lifetime. Little did she know her happiness would be short lived and she would be a pregnant divorcee by that year's end.

Then after years of celebrating alone with her baby boy last year she had a Punar Vivah with a man still inlove with his dead wife.

After bhang, drinking competition Yash made love to her, which she had no memory off and he became a depressed monster shoving and pushing her insulting her every step of the way. They separated but she returned after he almost died in a boxing completion still he never once told her that he liked her let alone love her.

Aarti kept her pregnancy a secret from him and his family, but his cunning buaji found out and blackmailed her to take her son and leave Yash. Yash found out in time and stopped them at the bus stop and brought them back to SM where they were scolded by his father; but her mother in law begged for them to be allowed into the house she was happy and wanted a grandson.

As the months passed Yash took care of her made her feel special and protected but he never said that he loved her. Then Prashant came back into their lives he was sick in a critical state and needed Ansh's bone marrow Yash agreed for the procedure but his father threw them [Aarti & Ansh] out of his house claiming that she cheated them with her lie of claiming to be a widow. Bauji demanded that Yash divorce her. Yash stood up and said that he will not leave his wife and son for no one or any stupid reason.

Bauji demanded that no one from his family shall speak to them again but when they were leaving his mother begged his father pleading that Aarti was pregnant with their grandchild to stop them finally he told that they should live separate from the family upstairs and have nothing to do with them ever again.

As the weeks passed Prashant died it was too late for him and Ansh's donated bone marrow was not regenerating fast enough to save him.

Yash submitted papers for Ansh adoption he officially declared him as his heir. During all this time he never once told Aarti that he loved her but he made sure all their needs were met.

Yash went to work with a friend who also had an event planning company they catered for the middle and lower income who just wanted something special and memorable for their family.

Aarti in her spare time also worked with Yash; they had become good friends but not lovers.

While Aarti was deep in thought she did not realize that Yash had arrived and was standing looking at her. Yash was lost looking at her beautiful face glowing in the moon light her hair moving in the slight breeze and her hand rubbing her tummy.

Yash self-talk "I am so lucky to have found Aarti a mother for my kids, a good friend and companion; she is such an angel not like other who would demand all my love time and attention demanding that I forget Aripta; only play nice to my daughters in my presence. I hope she like this gift I brought for her holding the bo in his hand.

Aarti finally sensed that Yash was close and turned around "yashji you here why did you not say something Let me arrange dinner for you" she noticed he had something in his hand which he tried to hide behind his back so she went along with him in his game and took out his dinner. They had converted the terrace into a makeshift small kitchen since Vidhi Bhabhi had locked all the kitchen cupboards and draws with keys. She refused to share the kitchen with her complaining that gas was finishing too quickly, and that her time is wasting waiting for Aarti to finish her cooking making it impossible for her to prepare the family's meals on time

"Aartiji did you have your dinner with the kids? I hope you ate and took your meds and was not waiting for me I know how stubborn you can be sometimes"

"Yash ji I had fruit and milk with the kids I can't help it if I was not feeling hungry then" and she took out a plate for her

Yash smiled at his wife he knew she would come up with a brilliant excuse. They had their meal in silence Yash made sure she had her meds them he give her the gift "Yashji what is this you know you don't have to buy me gifts"

"I know that but I want to just open it and stop your complaining"

Aarti opened the wrapper and found it was a jewellery case containing a gold chain with two doves with their becks touching as if in a kiss sitting on two entwined heart. Aarti was shocked and happy "Yash ji what is this about?"

"This my dear wife is my way of telling you happy Valentine and my deep feelings for you I love you Aarti Yash Scindhia my heart belongs to only you"

"Yashji tomorrow is Valentine's day" said a smiling Aarti

"If I give to early a complain, if I don't give a complain, here let me help you wear it my love"

Aarti looked at him tears in her eyes "I love you too Yash but I don't have an expensive gift like this to give you"

"Aarti I don't need an expensive gift I have you our kids and this sweet baby growing in side of you"

"Come let us get some sleep now tomorrow our kids are spending the night with Shoba ma and we are spending the night in a hotel"

"What why are you planning to be very bad tomorrow so I be scared"

"Yes I am planning to be very wild with my wife tomorrow and we don't need an audience"

"Oh Hello you wife is six months pregnant so not to wild okay"

"What I have planned my very pregnant wife will enjoy" Back hugging her and kissing her neck

"Yash the kids are in the room sleeping behave"

"That is why I have made plans for tomorrow my love"

Aarti blushed he call her his love and is kissing her neck then her shoulders'

"Yash go and have a cold shower she whispered I am going to sleep"

In bed Aarti was smiling to herself asking what just happened her Yashu as she called him in private he is in a romantic mood, wait he said that he loves her and his heart belongs to her. What happened to the man who swore to love only Aripta his first wife, and give in to the human weakness of fulfilling his physical pleasure. Could this be real or a dream of her's.

Yash took a cold shower to calm himself for weeks now he had be doing this without his wife's knowledge he loved his Aarti but was stubborn to admit it to himself. Aripta was a faded memory now; she had become so since before their Mumbai trip. That was why he needed her pictures and possessions around him to constantly remind him about their life together, and his promise to her that in case of her death their two daughters will always the most important persons in his life, and that he will never marry again and give her place to another woman.

But god had another plan and Aarti entered his life his Aarti who without trying took over his heart in the very first days of their marriage and the naughty Ansh who won him over that very first meeting; his son; his champ Ansh the naughty fellow who had the same cute smile like his mom. Yash loved his daughters but Ansh was his boy his little shadow, while the girls loved their Aarti ma and wanted to be just like her when they grow up.

He returned to the bedroom saw his family fast asleep on the huge double bed went and lie down next to his boy Ansh who rolled and hug him up "papa you came home late" said a sleepy Ansh and went back to sleep. Yash looked at Aarti and saw her smiling at him "goodnight she silently mouthed to him and he responded goodnight I love you which made her blush

The following day Yash was home he helped get the kids ready for school, packed their bags and told they about spending the night with their Shoba naniji and Dubey nanaji. They were excited at the Dubeys they would be able to run and play outside and make as much noise as they wanted unlike here where the other elders always complain about the loud noise.

Yash spent the day with his wife he made use of their alone time by seducing his wife he got his guitar from one of the storerooms and serenade his wife. Aarti was shocked and blushing while doing her chores because Yash kept on singing romantic songs to her while helping her with the work.

Finally he packed the overnight bag for them and they left the house with Maya buaji gawking at them and Vidhi complaining that she is here the good bahu and Aarti the divorcee and cheat is having fun with her husband.

After school they took the kids to the Dubeys and left for their mini trip Yash had them booked in the five star hotel in Bhopal the honeymoon suite. Aarti felt so shy seeing that she is already six months pregnant and the staff were smiling with knowing looks at them.

Alone in the room Yash wasted no time to kiss his wife and made her relax under the expertise of his loving arms. They moved to the bed and he made sure she was comfortable and that the baby was safe>He did not mind that she would be on top of him most of the time as long as they both were satisfied and reach their electrifying climax. Tired but happy Yash turned and kissed his wife hard on the mouth "So Mrs Scindhia what say how is your day going so far"

"Mr Scindhia I am having a wonderful time with my hubby this day is beyond my expectations mind you I did not expect anything"

"I know my love you thought I was still stuck in my dream world with Aripta." Wrapping her comfortably in his arms he continued "Aarti to be honest I am not sure exactly when I fell in love with you and Aripta became a pleasant memory. All I know now is our present and future I love you like I never loved Aripta you are my one true love my soulmate. I will always cherish the time I spent with Aripta and she give me two beautiful daughters. You my love give me back my life my son Ansh and another baby on the way. You have become my best friend my business partner my true companion I can't stop telling you how much I love you"

"And I love you too but why did you not say or show me how much you love me before?"

"I wanted to on many occasions but was afraid of your rejection then Prashant entered our lives and I became more afraid of losing you and Ansh to him. When I realized that I was a fool you would never leave me for anyone or any reason Prashant died I thought you wanted to morn his death so I give you space and time only to realize how wrong I was. You love me; yes you were sad over his death it is natural he was your first love and husband Ansh's biological father but somehow I realized you were more sad for Shoba ma and Dubey bauji's loss, and Prashant was more of a good friend than a relative to you.

"Yes he did become a friend in the end, his returning back into my life made me realize how much I love you. You are my life my heart beats only for you" and she reached up and showed him how much he meant to her through a very passionate kiss which lead to another round of physical fun.

"Lazy bones time to get up and get ready for dinner." Said Yash

"Why we can have dinner here in bed" and she patted the bed suggestively

"No way and spoil my plans come my beauty let me help you shower and get ready"

Yash lifted her up and carried her to the washroom "Shower my love or something else"

"Baby after the baby is born we will have all the fun in the washroom as my lady wants but for now a platonic shower for us." Yash had to laugh at his wife cute pouty face but he was determine to keep both his wife and unborn baby safe.

Yash gifted Aarti a beautiful comfortable fitted maternity formal gown it was a red skirt and gold embroidered bodice. He gibe her matching earings to the chain and pendent of the previous night and a gold charm bracelet with the birthstones of their three kids and theirs.

Yash dressed in a black dinner suit and white shirt they looked stunning. Dinner was in the main dining room where the guest were enjoying the performance of couple famous singer and dance troupe from Mumbai.

After their performance the floor was open for dancing Yash guided his wife for a couple of romantic songs then they returned to the privacy of their room to continue their romantic evening, much to the delight of Aarti.
