We present to you Amit Tandon aka Prithvi of KYPH, in an interview that you have never dreamt of before.Catch him Live on IF Radio in association with Crazefm this Friday, 28^th October at 11 PM IST!

He came to India on a holiday fully paid
tried his hands at singing, little knowing it was acting for which he was made
It was his sheer determination and his courage for conviction
Which helped him get over the trials and tribulations of every situation
He took risks aplenty but held it on his own

As an EX VJ he is no longer known
He enthralled us in the Indian Idol with the songs he sung
But it was through Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai, our hearts he had won
Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai gives us a reason to smile,
family values, close knitted ties and human emotions makes the viewing worthwhile

And in a drama filled with high passion and a story so intense
There is a man who captured our hearts with his character so dense
If Angad and kripa's love we find so enduring
had prithvi not been there wouldn't we find it boring?

This young lad we are talking about, has had his share of bouquets and brickbats too
He has carried on from strength to strength - firmly believing that dreams do come true

Born and bought up in US, Amit Tandon has pursued a double major in business and political science and was well on his way to study law before India came calling! Always a bathroom singer and motivated by the encouragement he received, on a holiday to India, he participated in the national wide singing contest by Channel V where he was the fifth finalist. He didn't make it to the top but Channel V offered him a job as a VJ and with them he hosted a couple of shows. Indian Idol soon came calling and he tried his hands at singing once more. Even though he couldn't make it in the top 10, he won many peoples hearts with his endearing smile and a magnetic charisma to match. Destiny perhaps had other plans for him and Sony TV offered him a job to act in their serial. It was Yeh Meri Life Hai in which he originally supposed to play a role but then Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai followed. Originally supposed to play Angad, it was Prithvi was zeroed upon due to his soft image and boyish charm.

i would like to know who is ur favourite co-star from kyph? i've heard that many people in the crew of kyph have been having problems with the girl playing kripa .. is this true ???? people say that she has an attitude problem ..
