Part 22:-
Raina, Ragini, Lakshya and Sanskaar all headed towards Maheshwari Mansion in Lakshya's car. Lakshya was driving the car, Sanskaar was sitting next to him, Ragini was sitting behind Lakshya and Raina was sleeping on her lap. There was a long silence when suddenly, Sanskaar spoke up.
Sanskaar- Accha Lucky, why didn't you bring your wife to receive me? You should've brought her. I have never met her yet. I couldn't even attend your wedding due to my busy schedule.
Lakshya looked at Ragini through the front mirror who was already looking at him.
Lakshya- We don't live together now.
Sanskaar was shocked.
Sanskaar- What? Why?
Lakshya- I don't know. Everything was going fine until one day, she left me without even saying good bye.
Sanskaar- When did this happen?
Lakshya- 6 years back! Anyway, when and where did you meet Ragini?
Sanskaar automatically smiled when he heard Ragini's name and remembered the time when he met her for the first time.
Sanskaar- Probably 6 years back! I met her on a train. I had gone to Guwahati to attend a meeting. While returning, I didn't get flight tickets due to some reasons so I booked train tickets. She boarded the same train at Kolkata junction and the first time I saw her, I knew I was head over heels in love with her. She looked eternally beautiful. She was just breathtaking. I can write a whole book to describe how beautiful she looked that day. She looked somewhat scared. I don't know why but I could understand that she was running from her past. Such innocence in her eyes! She was no less than an angel. I kept looking at her throughout the whole trip and that was how I found her.
Lakshya was not being able to control his emotions. He was jealous. He wanted to tell everything to Sanskaar but couldn't. He looked at Ragini through the front mirror and she was looking down.
Lakshya- You're one lucky man! I wish I had met her under the same circumstances and not how I actually met her. At least she would have been mine now.
Ragini looked at Lakshya through the mirror with little tear drops forming in her eyes while Sanskaar was shocked.
Sanskaar- What? Whom are you talking about?
Lakshya- My ex wife! My Guddi.
Ragini (in mind)- Oh God, I just hope Lakshya doesn't blurt out the whole truth.
Sanskaar- Oh! Its okay Lucky. You'll find someone better who will love you a lot.
Lakshya- None in this whole world can love me more than she used to do and may be still does.
Saying this, Lakshya looked at the mirror to see Ragini's face and she looked back. After a few minutes, they reached the Maheshwari Mansion. When Ragini entered, no one was shocked because Lakshya had already informed them that Ragini was coming with them and asked Chotu to remove everything that included Ragini before their arrival. All her pictures were removed from the whole house. When Ragini entered the house, she was about to cry but somehow controlled her tears. Sanskaar and Ragini touched the feet of PRM. PRM had tears in his eyes.
PRM- God bless you both!
PRM then saw little Raina and carried her.
PRM- Who is this little princess?
Sanskaar- Dad, she is my daughter.
PRM was shocked.
PRM- What? Your daughter?
Ragini- Actually papa, I mean uncle, that's Raina, my daughter. I am a divorcee and she is my daughter with my ex husband.
Sanskaar- Ragini why did you...
Ragini- Sanskaar please! He deserves to know the truth.
Hearing this, PRM looked at Lakshya who was looking down and then back at Raina. He kissed her cheek.
PRM- She is Raina Lakshya Maheshwari!
All the people present there were shocked. Lakshya and Ragini looked at each other with wide open eyes.
Sanskaar- Raina Lakshya Maheshwari??????
PRM- Oh, I beg your pardon! That was a slip of tongue. I meant Raina Sanskaar Maheshwari.
Both RagLak took a sigh of relief.
Sanskaar- Sounds so good, right? Raina is my angel and I love her.
Sanskaar carried Raina in his arms and kissed her cheek.
Seeing Sanskaar's love for Raina, Lakshya smiled a bit. He then took Raina to his room and played with her for a long time not less than 3 hours. On the other side, Ragini was searching Raina for lunch.
Ragini- Sanskaar, have you seen Raina?
Sanskaar- She is in Lucky's room with him. You go and bring her. I am going to the washroom. Its an emergency case.
Sanskaar then went to the washroom without even waiting for Ragini's reply.
Ragini (in mind)- Oh God, how do I go to Lakshya's room now? But I have to! Raina must be hungry.
Ragini somehow dared to enter Lakshya's room and saw Raina sleeping peacefully on the bed. Lakshya was nowhere to be seen.
Ragini (in mind)- Thank God Lakshya isn't here. This is a good chance. I'll carry Raina and move out and he won't even come to know.
Ragini was trying to carry Raina when she heard the sound of the door knob being locked. She turned around and saw Lakshya looking straight into her eyes. He was moving forward towards her and this scared her.
