you mentioned some extremely interesting points of difference between Dev and Vicky.

I cannot completely agree or disagree with your POV but I have few things to add here.

It is right that taking a stand for your wife only cannot make you an ideal person but TAKING STAND FOR THE RIGHT THINGS AND RIGHT PEOPLE IN LIFE WILL DEFINITELY MAKE YOU AN IDEAL PERSON.

sometimes that right person could be your mom and sometimes it could be your wife or anybody else for that matter.

so its doesn't really matter who do you stand for.(your Mom,wife,sister, brother etc)

what matters is what do you stand for(right or wrong).

There has been many situations in the past when Dev did not take stand for the right things and apparently Sona happened to be at the fair side and thats why may be 'Dev not taking stand for the right things' is being perceived as 'Dev not taking stand for his wife'

Coming to Vicky..I dont feel he is capable enough to take stand for anyone as he is still not able to stand on his own feet.

bash me if you want but I feel he doesn't deserve to get married to anyone as of now.

He is not matured,sensible and established enough to take responsibility of a family on his shoulders.

He is counting on Dev's money for his survival.

How can we expect him to take stand for anyone else when he himself is lying on Dev's shoulders?

I dont think you can compare dev and vicky. Dev is a good husband in many ways, but he does have a lot of flaws also. But it is all logical because dev and sona are also just martied a couple of weeks. So we can not expect dev to be an ideal husband already. To become a good husband u learn from your mistakes and try to do better. I can see dev doing that in baby steps.

Now comes vicky. He is just a person with a black heart. Cannot see any good part in him. I can not believe how cv's are showing that running away and marring without informing your parents is just a normal case. And afterwards everyone exepts it. What a message they are giving our youngsters. And it is not possible that he changed in 1 day. That he stood up for Elina is because he does not respect his elders, he has no respect for anyone. So you can expect him to ditch elina anytime. Like he did with his parents just now.

So for me dev is not an ideal husband yet(but can see him going that way). And vicky is faaar away from being a good husband/person he is just married for 1 day. So how can we compare anyway?
