Why trps were high on ippkd geet and madubala.
People love maya not only beacause her good looks. But the way her character shaped.
Leave kvb.
But I strongly believe Indian audience love heroine to be man handled by hero. Not the other wise.
Who is saint.
No one.
All man handling abusive hero deserve second chance not maya.
Indians love battle of good and bad.
Here the battle between Maya's loneliness and sanjh's over protected nature.
Leaving behind viraj.all other hero's were forgiven.
Then why are not giving s chance to maya.
It was mentioned she was grey not black.

I agree with the heroes when manhandled the heroine it's considered macho and hot . Those characters who were forgiven because they were positive . Hero heroines are always made to fight initially and fall in love . . . Here the concept is of Obsession which will lead to harming others. The first promo itself indicated that. When a person goes to that extent. One cannot expect to think of a bright future of that character.

In summary: Desi television is sexist as hell.
Unfortunately so is the vast majority of it's audience.
In regards to this show, Maya,Arjun and Sanjh represent the tropes all too prevelant in our dramas.

Maya is literally being presented as 'crazy' but a man in her position would have been 'tormented'.
Sexism. Nothing more,nothing less.

Exactly. My hope now is that the CV of Beyhad have Maya address and receive treatment, and make it so Maya walks out not needing Arjun.
