And lastly, serials may or may not portrait it but I'm real life woman are more possessive in nature.. they tend to be more claiming over their partners than men do. That's why in general women are more observant & that's why Saas-Bahu fight over & not Son-in-law & father-in-law. And people are like Maya is going crazy with po ssessiveness over Arjun but isn't Saanjh is also showing her possessiveness with her clear dislike with seeing Maya-Arjun togethr... she may not express it too openly or due to her sacrificing nature ppl tend to ignore it but she is also possessive of Arjun & to an extend obssessed too.. but here won't be considered as dangerous due to her submissive nature while since Maya is dominant, she is labelled psycho... not fair!!

If it was a male lead being possessive towards the female lead then people would find that cute. Double standards!

Certain audience who liked kvb aka viraj who abused jhanvi and tortured her and still called them romantic ..We don't belong to that group of audience ...Liked KVB for his acting but would never accept the torture as romance .

The people who liked jhanvi and viraj ...they probably liked their chemistry and good looks just like here many like Maya and arjun.They even want see to kissing in many angles.They want to watch intimate scenes .This is because they look really good.

There are many other aspects that make them perfect for each other

1. Maya also deserves love no matter what, because she couldnt get that love from family.
2. Maya is alien to this feeling of love, she doesnt know how love should be expressed, and just because her expression is different doesnt make her a pyscho
3. Her past has shaped her, but her future with Arjun will define her
4. Arjuns protective nature has attracted Maya not his looks
5. Maya sees a trustable person in Arjun
6. Arjun has not told anyone about Maya's fears (when ashwin comes to scare her)
7. Who knows maybe Arjun is more compatible with Maya? Just because she is not Saanjh doesnt mean she cant have a good relationship with Arjun
8. Maya is ready to change herself. When she ate the mirchis it signified that she ir ready to dwell with Arjun whether it even ends up hurting her. She is willing to do anything he likes, and according to that Arjun can change her outlook on life
9. Maya doesnt trust any other guy except Arjun. So that is their relationship should be given a chance.

Another comparison between viraj and jhanvi and arjun and Maya ...

Viraj and jhanvi were hubby and wife ...Jhanvi accepted and loved him ...she wanted to cure him ...hope thats all going to be fine and had no support like friends ...

Arjun hasn't fallen for Maya ...on the other side there is saanjh who loves him selflessly and he needs her support.Their relationship is much more then friends .So why would anyone want arjun to fall in problems ?

The same if arjun and Maya were hubby and wife ...we want always want them to stick to each other and arjun trying to cure her .There is difference in both the situations.
