Maya is an extreme person. Beyhadh is her character. She has an abusive Father and I think she did something to save her Mother from him. That is when Ashwin leaves. (Something to do with his leg). I blame Janvhi mostly for the way Maya is. Yes, its Ashwin's fault, but Janvhi is weak and she LETS him get away with this behavior. Even after everything he did, she still tolerates him and lets him close. She makes me so mad for being so pathetic. Maya is right he only USES her and this is why Maya behaved in such a crazy way with her. I know it was extreme but I "Got" it. She had reached the end of her tether. Her Mother almost died trying to entertain that cheap man. Maya has done everything to keep her safe and she STILL falls in his trap. So crazy as it was, I got that scene with the Mum.

Now comes the Arjun part. All she has done to date is try to manipulate situations so she can spend time with Arjun, or trying to cut Saanjh in some way, so she can have Arjun's time. It's not easy for any woman to watch the guy she loves close to someone else. Saanjh too is behaving pretty much the same as Maya. She is also possessive and jealous of Arjun spending time with Maya. But because she is not aggressive and a go getter like Maya, people think her behavior is acceptable. But Maya is strong and powerful. So she is by default a vamp! I don't accept that.

Also, the Promo's were misleading as in we were led to believe that Arjun falls for Maya too, and they become a couple. He seemed pretty "Into" her in the Promos and honestly I was excited by how hot they looked together. I thought I was in for a treat watching this intense romance between a hot couple where the girl is over possessive and Beyhadh in her love. I didn't think HE was not going to love her back. What is the fun in it? Even if they don't end up together, I want him to love her too! I want it to be a mutual love, but her over possessive behavior drives him away because he becomes stifled. It does happen in REAL life with both sexes. A controlling and over possessive partner is NOT a fun experience. They become like that because of their own insecurities. But for a Man / Woman who loves a person like that, life gets really hard, and eventually, that person will drive you away.

I was expecting the same to happen here. But I did NOT sign up for Arjun-Saanjh love story. I knew in some way Saanjh will help Arjun out of Maya's clutches when it got too much. But I was not expecting to see some love story between them, at least not at the onset. I WANT Arjun to fall for Maya and discover this Beyhadh side of her. THAT is the story I signed up for. Not some story of Vamp Vs Good girl! Please don't kill me of boredom. The good girl is also equally obsessed with the guy. But she is "Nice", so get a free pass! If Maya was a guy, AGAIN she would get a free pass! We only accept BEYAHD behavior from men, and we only accept "Nice girls" as counterparts for the Hero. Well chuck that! I singed up for the Love story of a BAD girl and that better be what they give me!

Certain audience who liked kvb aka viraj who abused jhanvi and tortured her and still called them romantic ..We don't belong to that group of audience ...Liked KVB for his acting but would never accept the torture as romance .

The people who liked jhanvi and viraj ...they probably liked their chemistry and good looks just like here many like Maya and arjun.They even want see to kissing in many angles.They want to watch intimate scenes .This is because they look really good.

Now the TM who is accusing other s of being gender baised ...Actually they are once who would enjoy torture as romance provided the leads are good looking.
