So as expected survi breathes her last in today's episode 😭

But before dying survi put the responsibility of looking after karthik on khushi's young shoulder's, and makes khushi promise to look after and protect her father. So with survi's death marks the beginning of a new promise, a new journey and new challenges, of which the little khushi will have to handle single-handedly. What is more shocking is that the lawyer and police inform khushi that despite being jailed for her crimes, tai has now fully obtained full ownership of karthik's full property and she wants to sell the barve mansion, for which the court has given permission. So khushi is told to vacate the house the same day. Where on earth does a little girl go with her mentally-ill father without and financial support?

They briefly introduced the leap today as well, and predictably, as they did when older survi was introduced, khushi's entry is also in a temple; predictable and unoriginal, but can be over-looked. All in all, today was a depressing episode, as are all pre-leap episodes in indian serials.

From tomorrow on wards will see sonal and zain's pairing and i am much looking forward to it. I will forever miss ankush and every episode will give me a sense of nostalgia of the past scenes between karthik and survi and their painful, yet beautiful love story and friendship, who despite loving one another, trusting each other and understanding one another like no one else, spent majority of their lives away from one another (as is with many indian serial couples unfortunately).

I don't know where things are going to go from here, but i have high expectations considering this show (apart from the predictable and cliched pre-leap climax) has always been unpredictable. I also have high expectations from zain considering how he carried off a negative role as well as a short positive role in TEI and i know that he will do justice to his role...but i am hoping cv's do justice to him and his character.

Signing off on this discussion, i want to say goodbye to all the members who have decided to leave due to the leap, and i will miss you guys and i still hope you may give the show a chance after the leap or may catch something about the leap that may make you want to continue watching. Besides goodbyes, i also want to say hello to all the new members who will obviously be joining just to watch zain, and also to the remaining members like me who want to give the show a chance or who are staying to watch zain or the fresh new pairing. I hope for good.

Wishing all of you the best with this new season. I'm gonna stick with my decision to stay away from YVR2 (they lost me with no more KarVi- I've become more critical of the show since, I won't be able to see past the critiques)... It seems like the new male lead is bringing with him a strong fan-base 👍🏼, hopefully the writing around his character won't disappoint them 😊

So I finally got to see the epi. Heartbreaking when Survi died. I somehow ended up feeling more bad for KarShi.
The Karvi flashbacks! Honestly Choti Survi-Kartik time was one of the best even though it was for a short time!
I didn't understand how Tai made a decision to see the Barve Mansion? She's only supposed to be a custodian.. the propety is Kartik's 😕. I thought even if she was made the custodian, she'd only be a caretaker & cannot actually sell the thing.
But something will definitely happen because in yesterday's sbb segment Kartik, Khushi & Abeer were in B.M
I'm curious to know what CVs have in mind but I guess the same anticipation that I had during Karvi time, it won't be there. If i watch it, it will only watch be because of Zain.

My YVR journey ends today though or should I say,it did yesterday

As much as I would have loved for it go on forvever (That's not possible though cause it had to end someday ) but definitely not the way they chose to

It all began with a promise & that's how it should have ended is how I feel, i e. Kartik having succeeded in keeping his promise,keeping Survi safe.Khushi had to grow up someday & I don't deny the inevitable but such an end for a love story that spanned 15 years is one thing I can never make peace with

They started off with this question " Kis had tak jaayega Kartik apne Vaade ke khaatir " The question is what made me sit up & want to watch the show real bad,And they really showed the extremeties to which Kartik was willing to go to honour his promise,to honour his word.And that's what made the story beautiful,that's what made the show beautiful

Willing to die fro your family,sacrificing everything for your family,that every person will be willing to do.But then it takes much more to do the same for someone not related to you by blood.That's what Kartik did for Survi & Shrikant & that's what I admired about Kartik's character.A boy so selfless & so loyal & so self sacrificing for two people who weren't his family,yet the love & respect he had for them & what the love & respect made him do,that was profound like anything

And that's why I don't feel the same way about Khushi's promise.Cause Kartik is her father & so taking care of him,loving him,she would have done it anyway,promise or not.And she wold want to do it even more when you have got a beautiful human being like Kartik as your father

It's sad how they chose to begin a new phase in Kartik's story with the one person dying with whom it all began.Should have just let Karvi be happy.By making her die in much the same way how Tai wanted to kill her 20 years ago,the entire story of Karvi brought together by the promise of a lifetime,growing up together,with each looking out for the other,loving each other & wanting to make their relationship work no matter how tough it got,everything has been annulled.They might as well have killed Survi then

And so am sorry guys,I won't be able to watch YVR.As much as I loved Khushi,YVR has always been Kartik & Survi's story & that is how it's always gonna be for me

All the best to Zain & the rest of the cast.And my wishes to all those who are gonna keep watching & the new viewers as well.And I sincerely wish the channel won't cause the level of heartbreak to you all,with the new story like they did with Karvi.Good luck to all
