Agreed about Dev and his character ...and abt the fact that its ok not to call your MIL ma...but here the issue is not that ...the issue is he decided not to call her because his mom was feeling bad...and he even said sorry for that ...did he take his mom's permission when he had decided to call his MIL ma?? no rt ? so why this change ...so does this mean tomorrow his mom says she is feeling bad that he is showing affection towards his wife and her presence in the house is making her insecure will he divorce Sona?? Dev is not only a son he is a husband too . His responsibility is not just towards his mom , but should extant to his wife and her family too.

Thats not the point. The point is he called her mother before and now suddenly stopping because his mom dont like it not because he is uncomfortable with it.

Right or wrong, whatever his mother wants he is willing to do it for her even if it is by hurting another person. When you cater to every whims and fancies of an individual without thinking about its repercussions and knowingly hurts another person without any fault of theirs then you are responsible for not only yours but the other persons wrong doing too. I will not blame Ishwari here. It is Dev n Dev only just like the break up.

He should never have called her maa if he knew his decision could be that easily changed. I call my inlaws aunty uncle and that is totally fine. What willhe call asha now? How willhe explain it to asha and sona?

What if tomorrow ishwari again is sad becuase everyone is calling sona Mrs. Dixit where as all this time she was the only mrs. Dixit in the house... Will dev ask sona not to introduce or call herself as mrs dixit as dear mommy is upset??? Or will he explain it to ishwari that even though it is mrs dixit she and sona are two different ppl and one cant take the place of other...!!

Ps: this is why i compare dev to the brother of bahubali - he just wants to put out the fire and doesnt care if his actions hurt innocent ppl while doing it

You said it.. it is about what you do and then stop doing for some weird reason.. BTW, i am sure that Asha and Bijoy are broad minded and would not mind if Dev stops calling her Maa. They would care less.. their upbringing is more classy than this lame Ishwari!!!
