Both are brilliant. But if I had to pick one; it would be Tabu.

Tabu is more versatile.

Vidya, as great as she is, is limited. She can't pull off westernized roles, she just doesn't have that in her. But yeah, despite her limitations shes probably the best "current" actress that we have!

Both are brilliant actors . Too difficult to choose ..Umm Vidya , I love her off-screen personality more .

Tabu is better --- she's more *versatile* as an actress ---- can do & has done comedy, romance, drama, dancing, serious impactful roles with ease ---- Vida doesn't come close --- she's yet to leave the same impact in terms of versatility --!!!!
