Here's my review on the movie. I'm only going discuss what I can recall. Forgive me for writing a long essay.

I didn't like the film much as the storyline & romance wasn't good at all. Aftab waits 4 years for his love but why didn't he approach Ameesha sooner? Love is very strange, I guess.

Ameesha wanted for focus on her studies instead of having a relationship. This is common sense because education comes first more than anything. Aftab realised it at the end hence why he ditched her & Jackie's death was also part of the reason.

Jackie Shroff's performance was the best thing about this movie. He was superb playing the elder brother. You would feel sorry for him when you see his death scene. He care about his brother more than anything and sacrificed his own life for him...hence the death scene.

Aftab is decent but he acts childish in many scenes. The funeral scene was good as he shows a lot of emotions. Sadly, he showed up late at the funeral but you would feel sorry for him for losing his brother.

Ameesha Patel gives a terrible performance as usual.

Ashish Vidyarthi is superb playing the abusive father. The way he abused Aftab was cruel. He even insulted Aftab's friends and Jackie Shroff as well. It was good acting, though.

The climax wasn't bad. It's makes you realise that eduction + family & friends is more important than love. That's what Aftab realised and he made mistake in the begining.

The song ''Meri Tarah Tum Bhi'' is very nice song.

I'll give this film a 2/5 because of Jackie Shroff + the climax.

wow good analysis :) jakie sharoff was amazing no doubt ...but i guess its one of aftab initial films after mast... he did remarkable work dont know why he couldnt made it to the big stars category :) i love this song pehle pehle baar hai more than mere tarah :) because of soothing melody and sonu nigam n alka pair <3 my fav singing pair... but the main point which they have shown in the film was , dont waste your time of education on girls , u will get a girl but time if gone never come again ...
