I have always been mocked and made fun of because I personally feel, We as a society need equality for all the genders . I have reacted and responded for it .But somehow most people, specially men take it as if I am a feminist. Yes if equality means that then I am . But what is so wrong in that ?

Also, the core definition of feminism is seeking gender equality ---- it's not a movement restricted to one specific gender --!!!!

if feminist means going around topless.. i am in..with all those women.😉... i am all for equality of women to do what they want... but if is about just talk talk talk or women getting short hair, flat chested and muscular i will give it a pass...jokes apart.. feminism is waging war against men and their established tenets... which man would do that... yes normalizing the society and preventing exploitation of women is badly needed in india...

I don't believe in equality. I believe in equity. I don't want to be treated special just because I'm a woman. I want to be treated fairly as and when necessary.

The problem with this whole feminism nonsense is that it's creating a social debacle of targeting genders and pitting them against one another when it should have brought them together. I want equal pay for equal work and I want to be considered for a post on the basis of my credits, but I still appreciate a guy holding the door open for me when I exit the building; or helping out carry a heavy parcel up two floors.

Men and women aren't equal. They were never meant to be from the moment of conception. Something as microscopic as the process of child bearing proves that. Why is it so much trouble accepting it once we're full-grown adults?

I always will. Your judgement isn't going to change my statement. Women thinking they deserve to be treated unfairly think so because they think they are less than men. We aren't less. We aren't equal. We're different. This whole 'wanting to become equal bullshit' is what's throwing chaos in this world according to me. Women empowerment needs propagation, sure. Our gender needs to be told it deserves better respect, better rights, better education and better positions in society. Does that mean the same as men? Never. Not for me. Heck it doesn't even mean the same for all women. We're separated by races, cultures, religions, education, age groups and SO many multifactorial issues. Which is why I said, I promote equity, not equality. Also, please find a dictionary and research the difference between equality and equity. Perhaps you'll grasp better what I meant. Either that, or kindly don't go labelling/judging people and holding them responsible for world problems if you don't accept their opinions. First of all, you don't know me. Second of all, you don't know me.

Oh, this is for you by the way. I shouldn't have to take the trouble, but just so that you don't make ignorant statements about my personality next time:
