I don't believe in equality. I believe in equity. I don't want to be treated special just because I'm a woman. I want to be treated fairly as and when necessary.
The problem with this whole feminism nonsense is that it's creating a social debacle of targeting genders and pitting them against one another when it should have brought them together. I want equal pay for equal work and I want to be considered for a post on the basis of my credits, but I still appreciate a guy holding the door open for me when I exit the building; or helping out carry a heavy parcel up two floors.Men and women aren't equal. They were never meant to be from the moment of conception. Something as microscopic as the process of child bearing proves that. Why is it so much trouble accepting it once we're full-grown adults?
