The ordinary Pakistanis are already suffering due to the policy makers and the Taliban has already destroyed everything there.

I have lived in Karachi and know what it feels like to live in constant threats to our lives. The government was not doing anything so the people had to make their own private security firm and called in the rangers to eradicate the talibans who were living in outskirts of Karachi.

Even then the government was having problems with rangers present in Karachi. So our city put our foot down and made sure the rangers stayed where they are. So what ever little peace we have in our city is because of these rangers.

One thing I know Pakistans economy is in shambles so who is supplying Pak gov the money to sponsor terrorists.

P.S. I am deeply sorry for the losses of those army men and their families.

Nothing is going to happen to Indus water supply , it cannot be closed but yes there is a huge section that wants it re-negotiated that includes J&K people, Govt and it's leaders. But this has survived 4 wars, proxy wars, all these attacks. For what it's worth, Modi Govt has refused to alter it.
Not happening. Even the ones asking about it, want just a re-negotiation , a tactical move. It won't alter or change anything

Pak Army is the 11th largest in the world, with this year the budget getting a bump of 11 p.c. Not to mention the aid it receives from US in exchange of allowing it to have a base for Afghanistan and the aid from China . This aid is the reason why Pakistan didn't react to a foreign country aka violating it's borders and carrying out strikes against Osama and the ilk which in any other circumstances result in war. The whole anger is about why the Govt/Army with all the available resources never operate against these organizations especially after it's own people suffer.
It has only been this decade where Pakistan economy has gone into a slump but correlate that with the weapons it has procured.

On Topic- ADHM shouldn't be boycotted. i am against boycotts of any kind unless the Govt gives a directive . Use whatever soft power muscle flexing to calm down public .

Having said that whatever is happening in UN is pretty much what has always happened. Rhetorical statements and stupidity.

This is what I have been saying in the forum. Just think logically...how do terrorists get funding? Its not thru taxes paid by artists from what they make in India. Its mainly from funding which USA and China gives to Pakistan in good faith as well as black money which is made thru several means like drugs, piracy etc.
Pak artists going away from India would just be a temporary setback from them personally. Eventually everyone will move on as we have seen many times in the past. Nothing will change at the ground level. People will think they did their bit but will go on leading lives as usual while money will keep going to terrorists anyway. I think many people also want ban for this reason as it will ease their conscience ki we also did something. But people are not even ready to give up stuff like watching pirated movies online though they know it funds terrorists eventually.
Fawad debuted in 2014...were there no terrorist attacks before he debuted? Will it matter to terrorists like Hafeez Saeed that some actor called Fawad Khan is being sent back to India. Hafeez Saeed must be laughing at Indians now that instead of tightening security leaks we are running around banning people who have no relationship with terrorism.

@MrsKhan - You make Pakistan economy sound like an East African one. Yes, it is going through a slump but it is nowhere near the panic that is being created here. Continuously the defense budget has taken bigger portions , just take a look at their own financial ratio to get the bifurcation . Thats where the money is coming from.
http://www.dawn.com/news/1262657 Dawn mentions the massive dent the increase in defense budget causes to their GDP. Hope, you now know where the money comes from.

Most of the aid from China and US comes in forms of weapon deals and negotiations for the same.

Btw , the proxy war and the terrorist organizations have been proliferating since 90s , a time when Pakistan economy was matching India's. And even when it was under severe sanctions post Nuclear testing, it continued.

Whether FK and others should work or not work , is a Govt.s prerogative . If it wants to shut down the visa as par of it's diplomacy tactics . Same like it deals with Tibetians and China. In the end he is a great actor and a superstar in his country, he would survive and thrive.

As far as piracy is concerned, agree it's a menace but distribution of black money there goes through way too many channels .Considering the monetary gains..it hardly makes the cut. Similar case can be build around corruption, black money, drugs money, ciggi and what not.

The defense budget comes from the aid they receive again from USA/China. Along with the huge discounts USA gives them. Infact all this money is better spent for welfare activities in Pakistan rather than purchasing weapons. Pakistani economy might have been at par in the early 90s but now its nothing compared to the Indian economy.
Yes definitely similar cases can be built around every bit of black money that goes out of the system.
