What is the Ring based on??Is it like Richard Linklater's Before trilogy, walk & talk movie? I haven't heard of any other actor apart from Srk and Anushka starring in it, also i haven't seen any other actor in the pics that were released. I think the movie is only about 2 characters like Before Trilogy..

As someone pointed it out on twitter..Imtiaz is a traveler,making films is just an excuse to see which ever part of the world he wants to see.He is so charming and such a good talker that he can convince his producer to take him to Timbuktu just for one shot.For smaller films,he would still make a trip to Manali,Kashmir..

I mean why did he go to Japan for Tamasha 😆

I read somewhere on the updates thread that its inspired by the real life love story of some Sardarji tour guide who fell in love with one of his tourists.

So SRK is the Punjabi tour guide and Anu is the Gujarati tourist travelling in Europe.😳

Imtiaz loves to travel thats true...his movies show the best locations in India and Europe.

Shayad producer ke paison se world travel karna chahta ho 😆

Lekin yeh bhi toh ho sakta hai ke he wants beautiful outdoor locations as background to his self discovery stories.

The Ring is going to be a happy movie like JWM, Thank goodness that it wont be like Imtiaz's usual movies. 😃
