Your views on Iccha Mrityu or Mercy Killing......

How many of you actually believe in Iccha Mrityu or Mercy Killing?
I mean wud you guys approve of it if someone badly wants it?
Like in case of Hotel, the Sec Incharge asked Doc his opinion on Iccha Mrityu and then Veer asked Mallick to send Cyanide tablets
Had u been in place of them what wud you do?
You agree wid Veer and Sec Incharge or you wud refuse like Doc n Mallick?

For me its difficult to decide.
See if I go by religion, our lives are amanat of God and we dont hv any right to destroy it
but if I keep aside my religion, I cannot tolerate a mere head ache or stomach pain, it kills me and to tolerate something as deadly that virus I wud prefer to die.
But choosing to die is virtue of cowards 😕 I wud certainly not like to die of cowardice, I wud love to die as brave hearted person. Contrary, all this brave stuff looks gud on paper and in hearing but in reality its true difficult

what wud you ppl prefer?

In hotel case, I, to some point, agree k Mercy killing is okay...look at the way they are enduring, Its beyond imagination the pain they are going thru

Famous Aruna Shanbhag case ... Mercy application was rejected of course because it was not apply by victim as she was clinical ki dead ... her biography writer applied it if I m right

I feel ATU cannot decide on its own...they need to take permit from govt and if by chance govt takes the call, opposition and Media will rip apart the govt
Even Acid survivor Mercy plea was rejected by Supreme court na and I guess that happened twice

@umayal... Agree if cyanide been used in serial then it should be with consent of people ... i doubt they will get medicine through Dhruv .. let's see

All ur point valid enough and many will be in same dilemma as urs for the same reasons u put through..

S, if go by religion or courage or our consitutional laws, mercy killing wuld be an offense or not a correct option to chose..

But if i had to chose in case of hotel residents, i wuld also go with veer and with the same thought, anyways if they r going to die with no hope of surviving then y not a easy death be given to them rather than suffering one... we all saw how gyaan suffered till his last breath..

But then, s the decision is in hands of those victims too who shall decide wht they wish to opt for...they shuld be explained all and finally taking cyanide tablet shuld be their call too...

And again, S as adhiti said its debatable one... none can concretely decide on whts the right option.

But s to implement it in our country even tho the victim and all decide, is too difficult..too many complications r there to implement it

Victims will deffo choose easy route barring few...i am looking forward to see how hotel mess is handle

In reality it's difficult ...as our country suicide is criminal offense ... So...

in reality it will become political issue and by the tym parties will reach conclusion victims wud be dead
