It would have been really interesting to have Shah Rukh Khan and Kangana Ranaut in the same film for the two have never worked together in the past. Although Kangana has time and again proved she doesn't need a Khan to make it big in Bollywood, but now that she's already achieved so much, why not make the most out of her stardom by doing an additional film with Shah Rukh? However, blame it on her bossy perfectionist' attitude, turns out Kangana's just lost out on a big film with Shah Rukh to Katrina Kaif. Yes! We are talking about Aanand L Rai's film with SRK here...

Rajeev Masand in his recent column brings out this shocking inside story stating how initially Aanand was keen on casting Kangana Ranaut opposite Shah Rukh in his next - the dwarf film. However considering how he had a tough time shooting with Ms Ranaut during Tanu Weds Manu Returns , he's now planning to finalise Katrina for the role.
Reveals an insider, "Kangana is invested in a film beyond her own responsibility. She likes to collaborate on the script, costume and other departments. And Aanand had become uncomfortable with that even in Tanu Weds Manu Returns. He appreciates that she wants to be involved every step of the way, but he doesn't want to risk casting two headstrong personalities like Shah Rukh Khan and Kangana in the same film"
Word is that Katrina is likely to sign the dotted line in the next few days and with that, this will also mark to be Katrina's second film with Shah Rukh after Jab Tak Hai Jaan. How excited are you? But considering this is a two herione project, who do you think will be the second actress alongside Shah Rukh and Katrina? Imagine if at all Deepika Padukone signs this film? It'll be nothing like it right? Okay, maybe we are expecting too much!!
Talking about Shah Rukh's character in the film, Rai exclusively reveals to us, "Yes, it's a dwarf film. But dwarf is not the character. I am making a film where the size of the character is short. It's a very new character. It's a story about a man and woman again like Ranjhanaa or Tanu Weds Manu. It has different characters. In this case, my character is smaller in size. Let's not design it like a story of a dwarf. It's a story of a man who's size is small." The film is all set to release in December 2018.
