Finally someone posted my thoughts... I too dont agree with whatever Dev is doing... It was his choice to breakup for his mahaan mata.. so he doesn't have any rights to expect sona not to move on... who is he to decide if she has to get married to other person or not...
What is he expecting.. That even though they have broken up Sona should wait for him till his mom dies... And then they get together... Or shld be with him without giving their relationship a name... Thats too disgusting... How can he even think that after whatever he did to Sona, she should or would come back to his life... Sona wasnt overreacting when she said she will marry Ritz... She was trying to put sense into his mind that she has to move on... And she will.. She doesn't need Dev in her life anymore... As far as Ritz life is considered, as of now he is good and understanding.. even if she marries him (though it won't Happen) I'm sure he can help her come out of the past...

I dont understand why is Dev been justified... Stalking, Creating mess in Rithwik's life and stil want to be good boy for his mom... Thats not love... Like Sona's dad said... His love is not pure...

I have been a silent reader of this forum ( As in KRPK)
I was just waiting for someone sensibe to make a post on true human interactions. And you have nailed it my dear.
We find often that the audience is wedded to the lead couple and bash every other character without any logic. Further they try to justify it.
Well, life is complicated. Dev is a very nice guy and Sona a charmer and a down to earth girl. Remember Eeshwari is also very grounded. Its just the interplay of emotions and changing priorities in life.
The show talks about growing with time on part of Eeshwari, Dev and Sona who are finding their own selves in the quest for life- their life with people who matter to them. There is no choice sometimes as your happiness is ruled by a significant person or a couple of them. Thats when the real test starts.
Here Dev Sona and Eeshwari reacted in different ways and of all these Sona ( Strictly my personal opinion emerges better) As she has not thought ill of her love at any time except for the fact that he didn't allow her equal opportunity to decide about their relationship. Eeshwari and Dev act very off character and break under the stress. It is wrong to sabotage lives of people- outsiders or family members, whatever be the reason. For me A man is to be assesed based on his integrity. Not on any of those macho measures that are very shallow. You should never chnage from within and Dev is dear to us cause he is so simple and caring and always righteous. Thats lost when he thinks of sabotaging others efforts even if it is under stress.
I might be wrong but this is how I undrestand life. Lets sit back and watch how this unfolds.
Thanks for a wonderful post dear

Showing that he's stalking her and ruining her life in the name of love is completely wrong! You are saying then, that it's justifiable for people to create havoc in their ex's life because "they love them still", get over yourself and move on and let them move on!

Cvs need to get this is their heads, cuz I know their showing the darker side of Dev but this isn't just dark, it's disturbing.

The CV's aren't justifying this behavior though. Hence why Sonakshi repeatedly calls him a stalker. If anything, the CV's are making sure that we as an audience know that Dev is doing wrong, through Sonakshi's dialogue. If the CV's made Dev obsessive and Sonakshi indifferent about it (which is basically every Indian serial) that's one thing. But what the new track has taught us is that love isn't perfect, breakups aren't perfect. And if your ex is stalking you, call them out for it. His obsession isn't being romanticized, it's being critized.

Sorry for the long post 😆

Agreed Sona called him a stalker and called him out loud for torturing her family members they are not romamtizing stalking it's very wrong and a criminal offense.Right now Dev is wrong I m not justifying this as love it's his ego and possessiveness speaking

Agreed but seriously with the way they are showing Dev now, honestly how can they justify or redeem his character .

If they show that Dev is behaving all this because of sona and once she comes back in his life , he will be back to normal...that's totally unacceptable to me coz his personality trait still doesn't /hasn't changed and all it needs is another trigger in another form for him to go back to himself again.

Also I def feel mom and son have displayed the exact same personality trait.
