I also think Rita is perfect for Popat.

1.She won't be an irritating housewife like the other ladies of the society.

2.Their love story would be really interesting.Both treat each other like rivals.It would be great if they fall in love with each other and marry each other.

3.We will get rid of popat's failed marriage tracks.

But I don't think this will happen because rita reporter is no more a permanent character in the show.I don't think that lady playing this role is interested in acting.May be they can replace her.

Secondly,the writers are obsessed with showing his failed marriage tracks because strangely,they fetch good trps.

Thirdly,asit modi feels popat's character will lose his importance if he gets married.

In short,the writers just want to make recycled tracks so that they don't have to think something new. 😆 I don't think popat will ever get married in the show.
